Paul· August 22nd, 2025While the tour itself was good, during the Amazon trip your bags are transported by boat to the lodge in the amazon. The boat driver stopped off for gasoline in the middle of the amazon river and overfilled the boat tank, leading to my baggage being a quarter filled with gasoline and me and two of the other passengers having gasoline lap around our feet (in the middle of the amazon river) The tour company paid for the lodge washing machine to wash my baggage, but obviously much of it was destroyed by the solvent properties of gasoline, and even the stuff that went through the wash having to be thrown away because it stilled smelled of it a week later. Several times during our trip he was in the right place at the right time, to save us a very precious memory and also was there to save the day, when we dropped our passports, which he quickly recovered. Very many cudos to him,,, he is a very special man. I would also like to thank our Rio guide, Wilson. He is a very funny and caring man. We got on so well with him, that he was like a brother to us both. Thanks again Wilson. To both of them, we hope that one day our paths will cross again. we include with this holiday a daily breakfast and one dinner, as well as the internal flights to take you between locations. In regards to additional costs, we advise that you take into account the remainder of your meals, any optional extra excursions that you may wish to include with your holiday, and the cost of international flights. If you have been quoted for this tour and would like to book. We require a deposit from you of £200 per person.

Accommodation for 1 person would be a single room. We unfortunately do not offer shared rooms for solos. Any internal flights are included with the tour. September/October is a good time to visit these countries, due to rainfall etc.

You can add airport transfer in Rio for $68 per person and departure transfer in Buenos Aires for $41 per person. For late check-out, you can work with the hotel while on tour to see if it is possible. We cannot guarantee late check-out, but you will be able to keep your luggage at the hotel until you are ready to depart for the airport.
