Itinerary
- Day 1HanoiYour driver will be waiting at Hanoi airport whenever you land to pick you up and take you straight to your hotel. Once you check in, the rest of the day is completely yours. You can either relax and recover from travel or head out and wander around the city if you have the energy for it. Optional Activities- Explore Hanoi city
 
- Day 2Hanoi to SapaEarly morning departure from Hanoi toward Sapa, driving through Lao Cai City and passing through areas where you'll see local ethnic minority groups. Once you reach Sapa, you'll trek downhill into the Muong Hoa Valley to Cat Cat village, checking out the Black H'mong stilt houses, local handicrafts, and the Cat Cat Waterfall. After hiking back to town, dinner is yours to enjoy, and the evening market is open for exploring on your own. - Meals

- Day 3Sapa to HanoiAfter breakfast at the hotel, you'll trek through the rice terraces of Muong Hoa Valley down to Lao Chai village to see how the Black H'mong people live day to day. Then head to Ta Van village where the Tay minority lives with some Chinese cultural influences mixed in. A bus takes you back to Sapa town in the afternoon, leaving free time before your drive back to Hanoi. You'll roll into the city around 8:45 pm. - Meals

- Day 4Hanoi to Mai ChauThe drive from Hanoi leaves at 8:30 am, heading through countryside toward Bakhan Village via Hoa Binh City. There's a stop for tea or coffee mid-morning before lunch at the village restaurant once you arrive. After checking in, you'll walk around Muong Village and West Hill to take in the valley views. Dinner happens at the Bakhan Restaurant, followed by a traditional dance performance put on by the locals. - Meals

- Day 5Mai Chau to HanoiThis morning starts with a trek on the East Mountain route, which offers nice views of the valley and works for various fitness levels. Back at the resort you'll have time to rest before checking out. Grab lunch there, then head out for Hanoi at 1:30 pm, arriving in the Old Quarter around 5:00 pm. The evening is free to walk around and try some local street food. - Meals

- Day 6Hanoi to Halong BayBetween 8:30 and 9:00 am you'll leave Hanoi for the 3.5 hour drive to Halong City. There you'll board an authentic Chinese junk and sail through Halong Bay, stopping to visit a cave and swimming in the clear water. Lunch is served right on the boat with fresh seafood. The boat anchors in a quiet spot for the night where you can have dinner and watch the sunset, or if you want, swim in the phosphorescent water, stay in your cabin, or sleep under the stars on the top deck. - Meals

You'll visit a floating fishing village to learn how the fishermen work. Lunch comes on the boat as you head back toward Halong City port. You'll be back in Hanoi between 3:30 and 4:00 pm to check in and spend the evening exploring the Old Quarter. - Meals
