Itinerary

Bran - Brașov
You'll start your morning at Peles Castle in Sinaia, the former summer residence where the Romanian royal family spent their time. The castle sits in a nice mountain setting, and you can walk through the ornate rooms and grounds. After spending a couple hours there, you'll head to Bran Castle, which sits on a hilltop and has strong ties to the Dracula legend and local folklore. It's a different kind of castle experience from Peles, more fortress-like. From there, you'll make your way down to Brasov, a historic city nestled in the Carpathian foothills. You can wander the old town square, check out the Gothic church, and grab dinner at one of the local restaurants. By evening you'll have covered two major castles and a charming mountain city, all in one day.
