Itinerary
- Day 1
Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Meet your guide at the lodge around 7:30 am for the drive ahead. You'll travel roughly 120 km through Botswana's wide open landscape to reach a private reserve on the northern edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Once there, you'll set up camp and join an introductory talk to meet the rest of your group. Sleep in a tent that night.

- Days 2 - 5
Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Four days of exploring the Central Kalahari Game Reserve begin with early morning game drives and walks alongside an experienced San tracker. You'll learn about the landscape and San culture while traveling through Deception Valley's wide plains, salt pans, and ancient riverbeds by four-wheel drive. During summer months (December to April), look for migrating zebra, wildebeest, springbok, and oryx, plus chances to see Kalahari lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, and leopards. Clear starry nights await at camp.

- Day 6
Makgadikgadi Salt Pans
After breaking camp, head west toward the Makgadikgadi salt pans. By late afternoon, you'll do a safari in Makgadikgadi National Park during golden hour, then stay overnight at a lodge right on the Boteti River.

- Days 7 - 8
Okavango Delta
Travel south to the Okavango Delta's border and board traditional mokoros (fiberglass boats poled by local guides, though they were once wooden dugout canoes). You'll glide quietly through reed and papyrus lined waterways in the delta's maze like passages. On a remote island, set up camp and explore both on foot and by mokoro, spotting water birds, elephants, and other wildlife. End the day listening to birds and relaxing by the campfire.

- Day 9
Maun
After two days in the delta, move toward Maun and the drier delta areas. Your afternoon is free, and you can book an optional helicopter flight over the delta if you'd like. Stay at a campsite with proper facilities.

- Days 10 - 12
Moremi Game Reserve
Enter Moremi Game Reserve where water and land come together. Spend three days on game drives at sunrise and late afternoon when animals are most active, looking for waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, wildebeest, lions, and wild dogs. Rest at camp during lunch with time for short naps. You'll stay two nights in western Moremi's Xakanaxa area and one night in the north eastern Khwai Concession.

- Days 13 - 15
Chobe National Park
Head northeast to Chobe National Park and cross the open grasslands of Savuti where large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze. From there, continue north on sandy tracks to the Chobe River. Over two days of game drives, track elephants, zebras, hippos, kudus, buffaloes, lions, and cheetahs, plus watch for the rare puku antelope found only here. Sleep one night in Savuti and two nights near the river in the north.

- Day 16
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Start with a short morning game drive, then say goodbye to your guide and camp crew at the border. Cross into Zimbabwe and transfer to your lodge in Victoria Falls. The massive Victoria Falls (a UNESCO site) is something you shouldn't miss. Other options include white water rafting and helicopter tours, all bookable through the lodge.
