- Day 1
Bogota
Your guide meets you at Bogota airport and drives you to the hotel for check-in. Once settled, take some time walking around the nearby streets to get a sense of the city and its well-known street art. This first day is fairly relaxed, letting you adjust to the city and explore on foot at your own pace.

Bogota
Start early at the Paloquema market, then head up to Mount Monserrate where you'll get panoramic views across the city. From there, wander through the colonial streets of La Candelaria and visit the Museo de Botero followed by the Museo del Oro, which holds the world's largest collection of gold artifacts. Along the way, try some local street snacks to get a taste of what Bogota offers food-wise.

Bogota to Armenia
This morning, drive 1.5 hours to Laguna de Guatavita, a crater lake surrounded by forest where you'll do a short hike. After that, continue to the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquira, a Roman Catholic church built inside salt mine tunnels which is quite different from typical churches. Later, head to the airport for your flight to Armenia, so pack accordingly and plan for travel time.

Armenia
Spend the day in Cocora Valley national park checking out the world's tallest wax palm trees that grow up to 80 meters high. You'll hike through muddy trails across tropical forests and cross streams to reach viewpoints overlooking the cloud forest. After working your way through that, drive 40 minutes to the colonial town of Filandia for a guided coffee plantation tour and see where local coffee comes from.

Armenia to Medellin
Drive an hour to Hacienda San Alberto to tour the coffee farm and visit the processing center to learn how high-end coffee gets made. You'll go through the laboratory and get to taste the coffee they produce. Afterward, transfer to the airport for your flight to Medellin, Colombia's second-largest city, so time your morning accordingly.

Medellin

The afternoon and evening are open for you to explore Parque Lleras if you want nightlife and salsa performances, or just try some local snacks and drinks on your own.

Once you finish climbing, explore the colorful town of Guatape and see its brightly painted murals and distinctive local character. It's a good day if you're up for some physical activity and want to see different scenery.

Medellin to Cartagena
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cartagena, a colonial port city on Colombia's Caribbean coast. After checking into your hotel and resting a bit, visit the Monastery of San Pedro Claver and its church. Then tour San Felipe Castle, an iconic fortress built during the Spanish colonial era that sits on a hilltop overlooking the city.

Cartagena
Take a 45-minute boat ride to Islas del Rosario, an archipelago of about 27 small coral islands with Caribbean beaches featuring white sand, blue waters, and palm forests. You can spend time on the beach, sunbathe, or try water sports. Snorkeling or scuba diving lets you see colorful coral reefs and tropical fish. The boat returns you to Cartagena by dusk, so plan accordingly for the boat schedule.

Take a street food tour in the old city if you want to try local dishes. In the evening, experience the Chiva Party Bus, which travels through streets while you sample snacks and enjoy live music or street dancing at various stops along the way.
