What people love about Bogota to Cartagena Tours
- Private Service I Best-Selling Journey: One Week in Bogotá, Medellín & Cartagena — Domestic Flights Included
We arrived 1 day late due to cancelled flight from Lima to Bogota. We were promptly greeted at the airport by Andreas who was our guide. We enjoyed the tour to the Salt Cathedral and Andreas was very helpful and informative. The drive back to the hotel in rush hour traffic was really nasty--it took about 90 minutes to go 30 miles or so thru intense traffic in heavier rains! It's amazing how people drive and I know this is common in many international settings, not just Bogota! Off to Medellin where we were greeted by Andreas L, our new guide. He was fabulous! He was our host to 'The Rock' and the famous colorful village of Guatape. We enjoyed the boat ride w/ some history of Pablo Escobar who is heralded as a cultural hero of sorts. Off to Cartagena where we were greated by Tavo who took us to see some features in this port city and highlighted the history of various aspects of the area. We were a bit tired from travel before Colombia so we bombed on some planned activities, and really didn't want to hang out on the beach anyway. All in all, the trip was good, well managed by TourRadar's support, and our guides were great.

- Private Service I Journey Through Colombia's Highlights: Bogotá, The Coffee Region, Medellín & Cartagena — Domestic Flights Included
I had such a wonderful trip experiencing a wide variety of cultures. The city life in Bogota, to the village in Salento, the magical landscape of the Coffee region in a lovely farm-hotel. Then, in Medellin with majestic views in El Penol and the little town in Guatape is so charming, every house is beautifully decorated. Finally, we enjoyed so much the streets of Cartagena, Andrea gave us great recommendations of restaurants and in every place was a great selection of hotels from coffee farms to boutique hotels. I highly recommend this itinerary, they booked everything for us and we didn’t have to be worried about anything. Every city we went to the guides were wonderful.
