You'll land in Lisbon and get settled into your hotel, then meet up with the group for a welcome cocktail and dinner at a local spot to get a feel for Portuguese hospitality.

- Day 2
Lisbon Walking Tour
After breakfast, a guided walking tour takes you through Lisbon's main sights. You'll see the Monument to the Discoveries and Belem Tower, tour the Monastery of Jeronimos, wander through neighborhoods trying Pastel de Nata pastries, and check out three famous squares (Rossio, Figueira, and Comercio) before exploring the Chiado area.

Sintra and Cabo da Roca
You'll head to Sintra in the Serra de Sintra hills for the day. Walk around the old town with its colorful buildings, then visit Palacio Nacional da Pena Palace, a 19th-century romantic palace with painted terraces and towers. After the Pena National Park, you'll drive back along the Tagus River and stop at Cabo da Roca, Europe's westernmost point, for dramatic clifftop views.

- Day 4
Obidos, Batalha, Fatima, and Coimbra
Starting early, you'll drive north through countryside to Obidos, a medieval fortified town with whitewashed homes and winding streets. From there, you'll visit the Monastery of Batalha to see its Gothic Manueline architecture, grab lunch in Fatima with time at the pilgrimage sanctuary, then continue to Coimbra. By evening you'll walk through the old town and see the University of Coimbra, a 14th-century Baroque building.

Coimbra to Porto
This morning in Coimbra you can visit the University with its Baroque library of over 300,000 books or shop around town. After lunch, you'll drive to Porto and check in, then take an evening walk around the city before dinner at a local Portuguese restaurant.

Porto Walking Tour and Wine Tasting
A guided walking tour starts at Porto's 12th-century Cathedral and continues through Praca da Ribeira Square with its tiled townhouses and river views. You'll stop at three small restaurants for lunch sampling local petiscos (tapas), then later visit a famous wine lodge for a tour and tasting to learn about port wine production.

You'll spend the full day in the Douro Valley Wine Region seeing vine-covered terraced valleys. The route includes Galafura and the São Leonardo de Galafura viewpoint with views up to 40 miles on clear days, lunch at a country restaurant, a one-hour river cruise, and a wine estate tasting before returning to Porto for a farewell dinner with wine.
