Itinerary
- Day 1Cape Town to Cape AgulhasLeave Cape Town early this morning for the coastal drive to Hermanus, stopping first at Betties Bay where you'll see the endangered African penguins up close. From there, spend time walking through Hermanus checking out the shops, restaurants, and markets that make this seaside resort town popular with visitors. Later, head down to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, where you can stand at the viewpoint and watch the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. - Meals

- Day 2Cape Agulhas to OudtshoornTravel along Route 62, South Africa's longest wine route, heading through to Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo region. You'll have lunch and do some wine tasting at a local winery before checking into your accommodation on a working game farm. As evening approaches, take a tour of the ostrich farm where you'll catch views of the Outeniqua and Swartberg mountain ranges with the sun setting behind them. - Meals

- Day 3Oudtshoorn to SedgefieldCross over the Outeniqua Mountain pass and get into Wilderness National Park by canoe. You'll paddle up the Touw River through indigenous forest, taking about 40 minutes to make your way through while keeping an eye out for the abundant bird life around you. After paddling, leave the canoes and walk the 2km boardwalk hike that leads to a waterfall and rock pools. By late afternoon, head over to Sedgefield's beaches where you can spend time taking in the expansive ocean views. - Meals

- Day 4Sedgefield to AddoHead to Knysna, traveling through the Lake District of the Garden Route to get there. Check out Knysna Heads viewpoint for views over the river estuary and Indian Ocean stretching out. From there, stop at Bloukrans Bridge to see the world's highest bungee jump bridge at 216 meters. During midday, you'll spend time in Tsitsikamma National Park exploring the indigenous forest and Indian Ocean coastline, choosing between hiking, crossing a suspension bridge, or swimming. Continue to Addo in the late afternoon. - Meals

- Day 5Addo to Wilderness/SedgefieldSpend the morning game viewing in Addo Elephant National Park, with 2 to 3 hours exploring the 28,000-hectare reserve. You'll spot roughly 600 elephants along with Cape buffalo, lion, black rhino, warthog, zebra, eland, kudu, and hartebeest. After the morning drive wraps up, head back toward the Garden Route to overnight in either Wilderness or Sedgefield. Included Activities- Entrance to Addo Elephant National Park

- Day 6Wilderness to Cape TownAfter breakfast, stop in Mossel Bay to check out the spectacular beaches, hike the Cape St. Blaize trail along cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean, or visit the Diaz Museum complex that marks the first known European exploration around the African tip. If you're feeling adventurous, try a 10,000-foot tandem skydive or sandboard on South Africa's longest dune. Head back to Cape Town early in the evening to wrap up your journey. - Meals
