Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek
You'll land at Windhoek International Airport where your personal guide meets you for the week ahead. From there, it's a transfer to your accommodation just outside the city. Once you're settled, you'll spend the rest of the day checking out Windhoek's main sights like the German colonial buildings, the Tintenpalast government building, Christuskirche church, and the Alte Feste museum. It's a good introduction to the capital before heading into the desert.

- Day 2
Windhoek to Kalahari Desert
After breakfast, you'll drive south through Rehoboth and Kalkrand, heading into the red dunes of the Kalahari Desert near Mariental. You arrive in the afternoon, which gives you the option to do a sundowner game drive if you're interested, followed by dinner back at your lodge. It's your first taste of Namibia's desert landscape.

Landmarks Kalahari Desert - Day 3
Kalahari Desert to Namib Desert
Following breakfast, you'll head south again via Mariental, Maltahöhe, and Sesriem into the Namib Desert itself. By early afternoon, you're at Namib Naukluft Park. Later on, you'll catch the sunset from a good vantage point with drinks before heading to dinner, watching the desert light change across the landscape.

Landmarks Namib Naukluft Park Namib Desert - Day 4
Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon
This one starts early with coffee or tea in the dark, then you head into the sand sea at Sossusvlei. The main event is climbing one of the world's highest sand dunes, some reaching 300m up. You'll also see Sesriem Canyon with its narrow passages and deep pools. Back at the lodge by early afternoon, you have free time to rest and recover from the morning's activity.

- Day 5
Namib Desert to Swakopmund
You'll have a slower morning with breakfast, then continue west through Namib Naukluft Park toward the coast. The route takes you through Solitaire, a remote spot known for its famous apple pie if you want a quick stop. Later you pass Walvis Bay with its lagoon and birds before arriving in Swakopmund in the afternoon. The drive runs between high sand dunes and the ocean, and once there, you can either do a guided city tour or explore on your own.

- Day 6
Swakopmund
Today is yours to do as you like in Swakopmund. There are plenty of optional activities if you want them, such as boat trips on Walvis Bay lagoon with oysters and wine, the Living Desert tour, or quad biking out into the dunes. If you'd rather stay in town, you can walk through areas with German colonial buildings like Woermann House with its art gallery, Woermann Tower, Alte Kaserne, Hohenzollern Haus, and the Railway Station Building. Dinner is your choice of local restaurants in the evening.

Swakopmund to Windhoek
After breakfast, you drive back toward Windhoek through Usakos, Karibib, and Okahandja. In Okahandja, you'll stop at the Wood Carvers Market and learn about the town's history as the seat of Chief Samuel Maharero and site of the annual August Herero pilgrimage. From there, it's on to Hosea Kutako International Airport where you check in and head home on your scheduled flight.
