Copenhagen
This morning a local guide takes you through Copenhagen's main sights. You'll see Nyhavn's colorful harbor front, check out Amalienborg Palace and the Little Mermaid Statue, then tour Christiansborg Palace. The rest of the day is yours to wander around and discover the city at your own pace.

Copenhagen to Växjö
You'll leave Copenhagen and head to Frederiksborg Castle, which holds the Museum of National History. From there, it's on to Kronborg Castle in Helsingør, then you'll take a ferry across the Oresund strait into Sweden. Before reaching Växjö (Europe's greenest city), you'll stop at the IKEA Museum.

Växjö to Stockholm
The day starts in Gränna, a charming lakeside town with wooden houses and cobblestone streets you can walk through. After that, you head north toward Stockholm, stopping at the Sörmälands Museum to see local history and craftsmanship. By evening you'll have dinner with modern Swedish and European cuisine at a local restaurant.

Stockholm
Stockholm's main attractions are on the agenda today including Gamla Stan (Old Town), Riddarholm Church, the Royal Palace, and Parliament. You'll visit the City Hall with its brick architecture and detailed interior. Then you choose between the Vasa Ship Museum (about the 1600s ship recovered after centuries) or the ABBA Museum. The afternoon and evening are free to explore on your own.

Stockholm to Oslo
A flight takes you to Oslo, Norway's capital and one of Europe's fastest-growing cities. After you arrive, you have time to settle in before heading out for traditional Norwegian food tonight at one of the city's oldest buildings.

Oslo
You'll start your Oslo tour at the Fram Museum, dedicated to Norwegian polar exploration. From there, you'll walk along Karl Johan Street to see the Royal Palace and city hall downtown. Later you visit Vigeland Park with its collection of statues and sculptures. The rest of the day is open for relaxing or exploring the city independently.

Flåm
After leaving Oslo, you head north into the fjord region. You'll see Borgund Stave Church, an intricate structure built in 1180. By the end of the day you'll arrive in Flåm, a small village positioned at the entrance to the Aurlandsfjord.

Flåm Railway and Loen
Today you'll ride the Flåm Railway, one of the world's steepest train routes, climbing 3,000 feet past waterfalls and mountain scenery. The route takes you up to the Myrdal plateau and back down to the fjord level, with views the whole way. Later you'll continue to Loen, a village in the heart of Norway's fjord area where you'll stay for the night.

Geirangerfjord
You'll spend the day in the fjord region at Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A cruise takes you through the fjord to see the Seven Sisters, Bridal Veil, and Suitor waterfalls. Along the steep mountainsides you'll spot homesteads and farms that families have kept for centuries.

Bergen
The route to Bergen takes you through some of Norway's most dramatic landscapes. Bergen, known for its Viking heritage and old-world character, serves as the gateway to the fjords and is your next major stop.

Bergen
A guided walking tour shows you Bergen's harbor front area called the Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage site with historic architecture. You'll have the afternoon free to explore on your own. By evening, you'll gather with fellow travelers for a farewell dinner in the historic Bryggen neighborhood.
