G-Adventures operated an amazing tour and the YOLO trip provided me time to myself to explore the city we were in at my pace and do what I wanted. G AdventuresOperator•Written January 2025Our 18-Thirtysomethings tours are designed for travelers aged 18-39 years old wishing to form interpersonal connections with travelers around their age, while visiting a new destination. Travellers must be 39 years old or younger as of Day 1 of the departure date of the tour. At G Adventures, we strongly believe in putting the right travelers on the right trip - based on what they are looking to achieve. This ensures the best experience possible. Maintaining expectations of travelers on these tours as well as travelers who wish to go on these tours is our part of our commitment to high customer service.

It's important for us to receive feedback on company policies and while I understand your disappointment with our '18-30 Somethings' terms & conditions, it is a strict policy we must adhere to. At G Adventures we pride ourselves finding the right trip for the right person - categorising our tours into travel styles therefore, is just one way in which we can do this. In particular, for our '18-30 Somethings' tours, G Adventures is trying to cultivate a particular demographic. The majority of our '18-30 Somethings' trips are multi share or very basic accommodation such as camping or hostels. The itineraries are fast paced, have fewer included activities and instead focus more on socialising aspect of travel. Additionally, in order to deliver the experience we advertise, G Adventures must enforce this age limit in fairness to other travellers in the group who may have specifically chosen this travel style, based on its age demographic. It is important to note that the '18-30 Somethings' Travel Style does not reflect a specific activity level, G Adventures by no means are implying an adult over the age of 39 would not physically be able to complete the trip. The decision to create this product line and enforce an age restriction did not come lightly to G Adventures as we know that the itineraries can seem quite appealing to many ages. Such data was based on extensive customer feedback G Adventures we restricted the travel style and no longer made exceptions and based the ages on the demographic data we received. It is not our intention to exclude people, it is simply to ensure we have a specific product which targets that specific age group. I do appreciate your feedback and will pass on to the necessary parties. As alternatives we suggest checking out our Classic tours which are open to all ages aged 18+.
