Istanbul
You'll get picked up from the airport and head to your hotel in Istanbul. This is your time to settle in, freshen up, and get ready for the next several days of exploring Turkey's historical sites.

Istanbul Old City
Your guide meets you this morning at the hotel to start exploring Istanbul's Old City. You'll see the Blue Mosque, walk through Hagia Sophia, check out Topkapi Palace, and visit the Byzantine Hippodrome. Later, you'll wander through the Grand Bazaar, one of the world's oldest and largest covered markets where you can browse shops and grab lunch if you're interested.

Bosphorus and Istanbul
Start early with a two-hour boat trip on the Bosphorus where you'll see Istanbul's bridges and view the Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi Palaces along with historic fortresses and waterfront houses. After returning, you'll explore the Spice Market, tour the Suleymaniye Mosque, and visit the Archaeological Museum to see artifacts from various periods.

Istanbul to Canakkale
You'll drive about 5 hours from Istanbul to Canakkale. During the drive, there's an option to stop at Gelibolu, a World War I battlefield site if that interests you. Once you arrive, you'll explore the ancient city of Troy, famous from Homer's epic poems, and see the archaeological remains from different historical periods.

Canakkale to Kusadasi
After breakfast, you'll drive 3 hours from Canakkale to Bergama to see the Acropolis of Pergamon, which housed the ancient world's second-largest library. From there, you'll continue another 3 hours to Kusadasi where you'll check into your hotel for the night.

Ephesus and Kusadasi
Today you're exploring Ephesus, home to one of the largest collections of Roman ruins in the Eastern Mediterranean. You'll visit the House of Virgin Mary, believed to be where the Mother of Jesus spent her final years, and tour the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Kusadasi to Pamukkale
You'll drive about 2.5 hours to Aphrodisias, the ancient city of Aphrodite, and explore this well-preserved site. After that, you'll continue 1 more hour to Pamukkale where you can experience the natural wonder and visit Hierapolis, a Roman spa city. There's an opportunity to swim in the ancient pool if you'd like.

This morning you'll drive 4 hours from Pamukkale to Antalya. Once you arrive, you'll take a city tour to see Hadrian's Gate, the ancient port area, and the charming Old City before checking in at your hotel for the night.

You'll drive 5 hours from Antalya to Konya today. Along the way, you'll stop to visit Aspendos, one of the best-preserved Roman theaters from the ancient period. After arriving in Konya, you'll explore the Mevlana Mausoleum, one of the most important spiritual centers in the Islamic world.

Konya to Cappadocia
You'll drive 3 hours from Konya toward Cappadocia. On the way, you'll spend about 2 hours in Ihlara Valley walking through the canyon to see churches carved into the rock formations while taking in the natural landscape around you.

Cappadocia
Today you'll explore Cappadocia's unique landscape by visiting Imaginary Valley, Monks Valley, and the cave town of Zelve. You'll also tour Goreme Open-Air Museum to see churches carved directly into the soft volcanic rock. An early morning hot-air balloon flight is available for an additional cost if you're interested.

Cappadocia to Istanbul
You'll explore Cappadocia's underground side by visiting Kaymakli Underground City, one of the most interesting of the 36 underground cities in the region. Later you'll climb Uchisar Castle for panoramic views of the landscape, visit Pigeon Valley and Love Valley, then transfer to Kayseri airport for your domestic flight back to Istanbul.
