Itinerary

Arrival
You'll arrive on your own at Hotel IL PRINCIPE in Catania and check into your room. After settling in, there's a welcome cocktail followed by dinner to start off your time in Sicily. The night you'll spend at the hotel.

Syracuse
Following buffet breakfast, you'll head to Syracuse to see the UNESCO World Heritage Site Neapolis, which includes the Greek Theatre, Roman Amphitheatre, Latomie of Paradise, and Dionysios Ear. Later you'll travel to Ortigia island where you have free time around lunch. There you'll visit the Cathedral (built on the Doric Temple of Minerva), Arethusa's Fountain, and the Temple of Apollo. You can wander through the baroque streets on your own before heading back to Catania. The evening is yours to explore the city and grab dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Catania.

Ragusa
After buffet breakfast, you'll take a guided walking tour through Catania's center and visit A PISCARIA fish market, one of Sicily's largest markets, where you'll try typical Catania street food. From there you'll travel to Ragusa and explore the historical center Ibla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with baroque palaces and churches. During your time there, you'll taste artisan cheeses. You'll reach your hotel with time to relax by the swimming pool or use the spa before dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Ragusa.

Agrigento - Marsala
Buffet breakfast comes first, then you'll travel to Agrigento to visit the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have free time for lunch before heading to Marsala on the western coast, known for its sweet wine. There you'll tour wineries and taste three different wines. After that, you can relax by the swimming pool. Later you'll head into Marsala's city center for free time to walk around the historical area and have dinner. You'll return to your hotel for the night.

Starting with buffet breakfast, you'll travel along the Salt Route to Erice, a drive through salt pans, windmills, and salt houses where the Phoenician salt extraction method is still used. You'll walk the small streets of Erice and stop for marzipan and biscuit tasting. After free time for lunch, you'll head to Palermo, Sicily's capital. You'll see the Cathedral and walk through I Quattro Canti di Città, Piazza Pretoria, Piazza Bellini, and the Martorana Church. Then you'll explore one of Palermo's famous historical markets and taste typical Palermo street food. The evening offers free time for shopping and dinner. Overnight in Palermo.
