Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo
You'll get picked up on arrival and driven to Colombo for the day. There's a city tour planned that takes you through the capital, hitting colonial landmarks like the clock tower and checking out Pettah bazaar with its busy market energy. You'll also see temples and museums scattered throughout the city, plus time for shopping if you want to grab anything. After that, dinner and an overnight stay in Colombo wraps up the day.

Dambulla
After breakfast, you're heading to Sigiriya but stopping first at Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage on the way. The timing works out so you can catch the elephants during feeding or bathing, which is the best part. Later you'll tackle the Sigiriya rock climb to see the 5th-century fortress and the old frescoes up there. Before settling in for the night, you'll visit Dambulla Cave Temple and walk through a spice garden and batik factory at Matale. You'll stay somewhere in the Sigiriya, Dambulla, or Habarana area.

Kandy
After breakfast, you head out to Polonnaruwa to see the ancient capital's ruins, which include all sorts of shrines, stupas, and Buddha statues scattered around. There's also a spice garden at Matale and a batik factory to check out. By afternoon, you're traveling to Kandy for a city tour that covers Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, the Arts and Crafts Centre, and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. In the evening, there's a cultural show to watch before you settle in for the night in Kandy.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, you'll spend the morning at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, wandering through the place with over 4,000 plant species spread across 67 hectares. Then you're traveling to Nuwara Eliya, and on the way, you'll stop at a tea estate and factory to see how things work. Once you get to Nuwara Eliya, the afternoon is yours to spend however you like in this hill town. You'll stay overnight there.

Nuwara Eliya to Yala
After breakfast, you're traveling to Yala for an afternoon jeep safari at Yala National Park. This is where you'll have a chance to spot wild elephants, buffalo, flamingoes, pelicans, peacocks, and lots of different bird species if you're lucky. You'll stay overnight in either Tissamaharama or Kataragama depending on the tour arrangement.

Yala to Galle
After breakfast, you're transferred to Galle with a city tour happening along the way. Once there, you'll walk around the historic town that sits on a rocky promontory, check out the lighthouse and harbor area, and explore the old town where you can see traditional lace makers and wood carvers working. There are also shell-craft souvenirs to browse if you're interested. You'll stay overnight in Galle.

Galle to Departure
You'll get transferred to the airport with enough time before your flight (at least 2 hours to spare). This is when the tour ends and you head home with all those memories from your time in Sri Lanka.
