Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Negombo
Your tour leader meets you at Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport and handles your transfer to Negombo. The first day is yours to settle in at the hotel, whether that means lounging by the pool or heading straight to the beach. As the sun starts to set, take a walk along the shore and soak in the coastal atmosphere.

- Day 2
Negombo to Dambulla
After breakfast, you'll travel through rural Sri Lanka toward Dambulla in the Cultural Triangle. At Pinnawala Elephant Rehabilitation Center, you'll see wounded and orphaned elephants and help feed them. Then in Dambulla, a cultural village tour includes a tuk tuk ride, catamaran across a lake, a local farmer's home visit, and a traditional curry cooking demo followed by an authentic meal. In the afternoon, climb Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site) to reach the top before sunset.

- Day 3
Dambulla to Kandy
After breakfast, visit Dambulla's Royal Cave Temple with its Golden Buddha Statue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring five decorated cave temples built 160 meters high with historical paintings and sculptures. Then head to Kandy, the historic capital, to see the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism's most important pilgrimage sites. By evening, watch a cultural dance performance showcasing Sri Lankan arts and traditions.

- Day 4
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, travel through tea plantations and waterfalls toward Nuwara Eliya, the hill town known as 'Little England' for its British colonial architecture. Start at the Gem Museum to learn about Sri Lanka's gem-mining. Then visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens to see rare plants across vast landscapes. In the afternoon, stop at a tea plantation and factory to watch tea production and try freshly brewed Ceylon tea. Once in town, walk through the colonial city center checking out landmarks, Victoria Park, and the local fruit and vegetable market.

- Day 5
Nuwara Eliya to Ella to Yala
Board a train from Nanu-Oya Station to Ella Village on one of the hill country's most beautiful routes. In Ella, you'll check out the Nine Arch Bridge, a colonial-era engineering feat, and Ravana Waterfall surrounded by greenery. Later, continue toward Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's largest wildlife sanctuary known for its diverse ecosystems and animal populations.

Yala National Park to Mirissa
Head out early for a 4x4 jeep safari through Yala National Park to spot leopards in trees, crocodiles along waterways, and wild elephants at rivers during golden morning light. After your safari, drive to the southern beaches and stop at Coconut Tree Hill in Mirissa for coastal views and photos. At your beachfront hotel, grab a towel, head to the beach, and relax under the palm trees with a cold drink.

- Day 7
Mirissa to Galle to Beruwala
After breakfast, head toward historic Galle and its famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Galle Fort. On the way, stop at Matara to watch traditional stilt fishermen using centuries-old methods. In Galle, walk through the fort's cobblestone streets seeing Dutch and British colonial architecture mixed with South Asian design. Check out the Galle Lighthouse for coastal views. Take a boat ride up the Madu River through mangroves and spot red water trees, then visit a fish farm and optional turtle therapy. End the day at a turtle hatchery center where baby turtles start their ocean journey and injured adults get care. Return to your beachfront hotel to relax.

Beruwala to Colombo
After breakfast, head to Colombo, Sri Lanka's capital city with history dating back to the 5th century. Once a key East-West trade port, it blends old charm with modern life. Visit the Red Mosque, Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, and Galle Face Green seaside promenade. Finish with a meal at one of Colombo's well-known restaurants, then head to the airport for your return flight or arrange transport to your hotel.
