Itinerary
- Day 1MadridYou'll arrive in Madrid and your driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the city center. After you get settled, the rest of the day is yours to rest and adjust to the city. 
- Day 2MadridBreakfast at your hotel starts the day, then you'll head out on a panoramic tour through Madrid's different neighborhoods and periods. You'll see the medieval streets of Barrio de la Morerería, the Habsburg architecture at Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor, the Bourbon grandeur including the Royal Palace and Cibeles Fountain, and modern Madrid along Gran Vía and the Barrio de Salamanca. The afternoon gives you free time to explore whatever interests you. - Meals

- Day 3Madrid to Ávila - Salamanca - PortoYou'll leave Madrid at 8:30 am heading toward Castilla-León. Once you reach Ávila, there's time to walk around its impressive medieval walls on your own. From there, it's on to Salamanca where you can wander through the UNESCO World Heritage historic center at your own pace. Later in the afternoon, you'll cross into Portugal and drive to Porto for the night. - Meals

- Day 4PortoAfter breakfast, a panoramic tour shows you Porto's Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and Santa Clara church. Then you'll board a BlueBoats cruise along the River Douro to see the city from the water. You'll visit a Port Wine Cellar with wine tasting included, and the rest of your day is free to do whatever you'd like. - Meals

- Day 5Porto - Coimbra - FatimaFollowing breakfast, you'll drive to Coimbra, which has one of Europe's oldest universities and strong connections to Fado music. You'll have time to explore on your own before heading to Fatima. There you'll see the Basilica and Cova da Iría, where the Virgin Mary appeared, including the Chapel of the Apparitions with the three shepherds' tombs. In the evening, you have the option to attend the candle procession. - Meals

- Day 6Fatima - Batalha - Nazaré - Alcobaça - LisbonYou'll start with breakfast, then visit the Batalha Monastery with its mix of Gothic and Manueline architecture and UNESCO designation. Next comes the fishing town of Nazaré where you have free time to look around, followed by Alcobaça to see the 12th-century church and the tombs of Pedro and Inês de Castro. You'll finish in Lisbon, and there's an optional Fado show in the evening if you're interested. - Meals

The afternoon is free to explore the Alfama Quarter, the old city with its castle, narrow winding streets, and traditional taverns where Fado music fills the air. - Meals

- Day 8Lisbon - Cáceres - CórdobaYou'll leave Lisbon at 7:30 am heading toward Spain and Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage city with Roman, Islamic, Gothic, and Italian Renaissance architecture mixed together. You'll walk through the Plaza Mayor and explore the Old Town and Medieval Quarter. After that, you'll continue toward Córdoba where dinner and overnight stay are waiting. - Meals

- Day 10SevilleBreakfast comes first, then a morning panoramic tour shows you Seville's Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome, the Santa Cruz quarter with connections to Don Juan, Maria Luisa Park, and Plaza de España. The afternoon is yours to discover the city's views and flavors. Dinner is included, and there's an optional Flamenco tour available. - Meals

You'll have free time to explore. In the afternoon, you'll head to the Costa del Sol, a modern international tourist area, for dinner and overnight stay. - Meals

- Day 12Costa del Sol - GranadaFollowing breakfast, you'll drive to Granada and visit the Alhambra complex with entrance included and the Generalife Gardens, both inspiring writers throughout history. You'll see Granada's incredible surroundings and learn about its role as the last Moorish stronghold until 1492. Dinner is provided, and there's an optional Gipsy Flamenco show at the Sacromonte quarter. - Meals

- Day 13Granada - Toledo - MadridAfter breakfast, you'll drive north to Toledo, an Imperial city and UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by the Tagus River. This old town is where Spanish art, history, and spirituality come together, and where Christians, Moors, and Jews lived side by side. You'll get a short guided tour through the narrow streets and visit a traditional factory showing the craftsmanship of gold and silver inlaying in iron. Then it's back to Madrid. - Meals
