- Day 1
Marrakech to Dades
Start early from Marrakech and drive across the High Atlas mountains through Tizi n'Tichka pass. You'll reach Ait Benhaddou, a fortified ksar village that's been used as a filming location for various movies. After grabbing lunch, continue through Ouarzazate and the Skoura palm grove, then head through the Valley of Roses before settling into Dades for the night.

Dades to Merzouga
Following breakfast, walk through Dades Gorges and pass through colorful Berber villages in the Dades valley, stopping at Tineghir with its palm grove. Head to Todgha Gorge where you'll trek alongside 300-meter high canyon walls. Later, drive toward Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert with a lunch break along the way. After arriving, take a 1.5-hour camel ride at sunset to reach the nomadic tent camp, then spend the evening with camel drivers and traditional drums under the stars.

Merzouga to Ouarzazate
Get up early to climb the sand dunes and watch sunrise. After packing up the camels and walking back to the dune line, you'll have time to shower and eat breakfast at the hotel. Drive toward Ouarzazate via Rissani, stopping to check out the traditional souks there, the largest in southern Morocco. Travel through the Draa valley with its millions of palm trees, and you'll arrive in Ouarzazate for your final night.

Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Transfer to Ait Benhaddou and visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Morocco's most impressive fortified villages. Head toward Marrakech but take a detour to the High Atlas Berber village of Telouet to see the historic Kasbah el Glaoui. From there, cross back over the High Atlas mountains to finish your tour and return to Marrakech.
