Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Azib Tamsoult
You'll drive from Marrakech toward Imlil, where your trek into the Atlas Mountains starts. The hike takes you over Tizi Mzik Pass, and on the way across you get views down into the Azaden Valley. By evening you'll reach either Tamsoult refuge or a Berber lodge to stay the night, which gives your body time to adjust to the elevation before continuing.

Tamsoult to Toubkal Refuge
This day involves hiking past Irhoulidene waterfalls and then tackling the more difficult Aguelzim Pass, where the views of the surrounding mountains are really something. After crossing the pass you'll keep going down to Refuge du Toubkal for the night. It's a demanding day, but reaching the refuge means you're positioned well for tomorrow's main objective.

Mount Toubkal Summit to Imlil
You'll start before sunrise and head for the summit of Mount Toubkal. If visibility is good, the views from the top spread across the whole Atlas range and on clear days you can even see the Sahara. After reaching the peak you'll come back down to the refuge for lunch, then continue the hike down to Imlil, where you'll spend the night in a traditional Amazigh family riad.

Imlil to Tamgist
Hiking continues as you make your way to Tizi n'Tamatert pass and then descend into the Imnane Valley. The landscape changes as you drop down, and by late afternoon you'll reach Tamgist village where you'll stay overnight in a guesthouse run by local families.

Tamgist to Aguer Sioual to Marrakech
The final day takes you through terraced villages as you trek toward Tizi Aguer Sioual pass. After crossing, you'll reach Aguer Sioual where a vehicle is waiting to pick you up. From there it's the drive back to Marrakech, arriving by mid afternoon and wrapping up your trek.
