Arrival
Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you to the hotel for check-in. After getting settled, the rest of the day is open for you to wander around the nearby streets at your own pace and get a feel for the area.

Vientiane
After breakfast at the hotel, a local guide takes you on a cultural tour through Vientiane hitting the key temples like Wat Sisaket (the oldest one), Wat Ho Phra Keo, and Pha That Luang Temple. You'll also see the sleeping Buddha statue and the Patuxay Monument, which was built to look like the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Once you're done with the guided portion, the afternoon is yours to walk around the city on your own.

- Day 3
Vientiane to Luang Prabang
After breakfast, you head to the train station and board a high-speed train to Luang Prabang. When you arrive, a local guide meets you and gets you to your hotel. After some rest, you'll check out the Royal Palace Museum and several temples including Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and Wat Mai. Later in the afternoon, climb Mount Phousi to catch the sunset with views out over Luang Prabang and the Mekong River, then explore the night market before heading back to your hotel.

- Day 4
Luang Prabang
You'll wake early to watch the Alms-Giving procession in the morning, then head back for breakfast at the hotel before going to the Morning Market. From there, take a boat trip upstream on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Cave, stopping at Ban Xanghai village along the way to sample locally made rice wine. On the drive back to Luang Prabang, stop at Ban Xang Khong to see traditional Saa Jute paper-making and how locals craft it.

After breakfast, spend your day at Kuang Si Waterfall enjoying the natural surroundings and the water. In the afternoon, drive back toward Luang Prabang with a stop at the Black Hmong Ethnic Village to check it out. Once you're back in town, the rest of the day is free for you to explore Luang Prabang on your own.
