- Thomas· February 21st, 2025Bravo Indochina Travel is not a real travel operator instead they just call local tour group operator for us to join their tour. There really wasn't any personalization at all. Before the tour started, Bravo Indochina was very promising. The communication was good as they send the itinerary and all the other info. However, once we reached Laos problems started. When we reached the airport, there was none there to pick us up. Not until we contacted Bravo Indochina did they send someone to pick us up at the airport. There was no English speaking guide that was noted on the itinerary to welcome as and bring as at the hotel. So, we really couldn't communicate with the driver when we had any questions. So, we got into the first hotel, Xaysomboun Boutique hotel, in Vientiane which has seen better days. It was old and a lot of wear and tear noted on the furnitures. The safe deposit box was a joke. The safe deposit box was locked when we got into the room. When we asked to get it fixed, the worker ended up taking, I mean carrying the locked safe deposit box with him and gave us a new one. It don't make sense to me to use it as they could just carry the locked safe deposit box out of the room anyway. We thought of using the pool but when we got to the pool is just looked disgusting and had not been maintained so no pool for us. Then our first tour guide came the following day for the full day tour of Vientiane. He speaks English somewhat and didn't really do much explaining of the sites to us but interestingly he was explaining things to some other tourists that speaks his language who is with an English speaking companion in English. Lunch time came. The driver and the tour guide brought us to a restaurant and the tour guide asked us if we are going to pay for their lunch. We were taken aback because this was the first time in all of our travels that the tour guide asked us to do that. We obliged and paid for their lunch thinking that maybe that is the culture in Laos. The following day is the drive to Vang ViennaShow moreTrip date: February 2025

- SHSandra· July 23rd, 2024Organisation was good but I was the only person on the tour and I found communication quite difficult. I had different guides in main stops, who only provided a city tour, & then I had to try to navigate my way around alone as an older single lady- especially to know where to eat, or how to get transport safely.Show moreTrip date: July 2024
- Easton Hammock· October 19th, 2023The 7-day tour of Laos was an unforgettable journey filled with cultural immersion, natural beauty, and historical wonders. From the serene atmosphere of Luang Prabang, where I witnessed the daily Alms Giving Ceremony, to exploring the stunning Kuang Si Waterfalls, and visiting ancient temples, the tour encapsulated the essence of Laos. The friendly locals, flavorful cuisine, and well-organized itinerary made every moment a joy. I left with a deep appreciation for Laos' heritage and a desire to return for further exploration. This 7-day tour was a perfect introduction to the hidden gem of Southeast Asia.Show moreTrip date: April 2022
- Amado Clegg· October 19th, 2023despite the country's relatively modest infrastructure and facilities, the locals' exceptional hospitality and warmth left an indelible mark. From the moment I arrived in Vientiane and interacted with the people, I was greeted with smiles, genuine friendliness, and a willingness to share their culture and traditions. The tour's highlights, from the stunning landscapes of Vang Vieng to the serene temples of Luang Prabang, were made all the more memorable by the local interactions. This trip was a testament to the fact that even in less economically developed countries, the kindness of the people can create a truly enriching and heartwarming travel experience. Laos' genuine hospitality is a treasure in itselfShow moreTrip date: April 2022

The people (including our incredible guides and drivers) were so lovely and so knowledgable. The guides knew all about the history and enjoyed sharing this.
