- Day 1
Tangier to Chefchaouen to Fès
Start your trip at Tangier port and head through the Rif Mountains, passing through Tétouan before arriving in Chefchaouen. The whole afternoon and evening is yours to wander the blue-washed streets, pop into cafés, browse local craft shops, and check out the Spanish-style squares at your own pace. After exploring, you'll drive toward Fès and settle into a traditional riad for the night.

- Day 2
Fès to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
After breakfast, head south through the Middle Atlas mountains toward Ifrane and Azrou, stopping in the cedar forests where you can watch Barbary apes. The route takes you through Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt, then follows the scenic Ziz Gorges toward Errachidia. After lunch in Ziz Valley, continue on to Erfoud, Rissani, and finally Merzouga. You'll have mint tea when you arrive, then climb on a camel and trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach a traditional Berber camp. Once settled into the luxury furnished tents, have supper and gather around the campfire listening to Berber drum music under the stars.

- Day 3
Merzouga to Marrakech
Following breakfast, travel south through Ifrane, which locals call the Switzerland of Morocco, and Azrou's cedar forests where Barbary apes roam. You'll pass through Tizi n'Talghamt Pass to Midelt with its wide views of the Middle Atlas, then along the dramatic Ziz Gorges heading toward Errachidia. After eating lunch in Ziz Valley, reach Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga. Upon arrival you'll have mint tea before setting out on a camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes to a traditional Berber desert camp. Dinner comes next, then you can relax by the campfire with Berber drums playing and the starry sky above.

- Day 4
Merzouga to Marrakech
Following breakfast, head through the Dades Valley toward Kalaat M'Gouna and Skoura, both known for their rose fields and palm groves. From there, continue to Ouarzazate, which people call the Hollywood of Africa because of its film studios. Next you'll visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco's largest kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where lunch is served while you take in the striking architecture. In the afternoon, cross the winding Tizi n'Tichka Pass at 2,260m/7,414ft with stops at viewpoints and local argan oil cooperatives. You'll arrive in Marrakech by evening and check into your accommodation.
