Itinerary
- Day 1
El Chaltén
You'll start with a transfer from El Chaltén out to Estancia Bonanza for a guided walk through lenga and ñire forests. The 2-hour hike takes you across streams where you can watch for local wildlife and get views of the forest range. About halfway through, you stop at El Establo restaurant for a snack before heading back to town.

Laguna de los Tres
This trek starts with a shared transfer from your hotel to begin one of the region's classic routes. You'll walk to Puente del Río Eléctrico and pass the Piedras Blancas Glacier viewpoint on your way to Poincenot Camp, where Fitz Roy comes into view. The hardest part involves rocky, stepped terrain as you push toward Laguna de los Tres for close-up views of Cerro Fitz Roy. After resting, you take a different trail back through Laguna Capri to return to town.

Laguna Torre
You'll meet your guide and group at a meeting point in El Chaltén to start the trek to Laguna Torre. After the first hour, you head uphill to Cerro Torre viewpoint for views of the granite massif and glaciers. From there, an easy 2-hour walk brings you to Laguna Torre where you can see the Cerro Torre massif, Cordón Adela, Cerro Solo, and their glaciers. You rest and then take the same trail back to town.

Río de las Vueltas
A transfer picks you up from your hotel to meet your guides in town where you'll get fitted with dry suits and technical equipment plus safety instructions. Then you descend Río de las Vueltas for about 16 km, taking in mountain views and the valley with its geological faults carved by the river. A vehicle waits at the end of the paddle to bring you back to El Chaltén.

Lago del Desierto
Your shared transfer takes you 37 km from your hotel to Lago del Desierto with mountain views along the way. You board at Punta Sur for a 50-minute boat tour through lenga forests while learning about the area's history and geography. Weather permitting, you'll see Huemul Glacier, Vespignani Glacier, and Cerro Fitz Roy's north face. You have 3 hours of free time to explore or visit Laguna Huemul before the transfer returns you to town.
