Show moreTrip date: March 2023 - LNLisa· February 23rd, 2023Patagonia is absolutely beautiful; however, we do not recommend taking a trek with Tour Radar. The tour over promised and under delivered. Buyer beware. While James is extremely responsive via WhatsApp, the "as stated" tour lacks. In our experience, they are not a developed company to be offering tours in Argentina. There were staffing issues. We had only had a porter for one day of our five-day trek. We were supposed to have a guide, porter and cook for the five days. The food was subpar. If you consider one can of fruit cocktail for breakfast sufficient for five adults and then trek for 6-7 hours with no additional food, this is for you. No meat was provided. One dinner consisted of mashed potatoes. If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, bring your own food no matter what they tell you. The itinerary is false advertising as it states wine is provided for lunch and dinner. It was not. When addressing these issues, I was told I was negative. I was asked to cover $326 of unexpected costs which were refunded one week later. I did ask for a refund as the trek was not as stated. I was told I would be given a $500 credit towards my next booking. The $500 credit posted for $50. I have asked twice to have this corrected. It is still not. I guess it doesn't matter as I have no plans to schedule another excursion from Tour Radar based on this experience. Extremely disappointing as this was a trip of lifetime.
