  We had a wonderful and exciting journey in Sri Lanka. The tour program was varied and the children and we were able to enjoy the trip. Our tour guide and driver NISHANTA was always friendly and patient. He showed great flexibility, whenever we wanted a slight adjustment of the program. Moreover, he had a great knowledge of history of the country and shared many interesting facts with us. Overall, we felt welcomed and save the whole trip long. However, we have some remarks. To the best of our knowledge, we booked a German speaking guide but the tour was in English. Most of the activities had to be paid extra (very high fees compared to the fees given for Sri Lanka people). The included activities sometimes seemed very "cheap", e. g. The gem "museum" was not a museum but a shop, where only a short film was shown, the tea factory offered no tea degustation but after a five minutes' walk through the factory and afterwards we got a cup of the lowest quality tea. When considering the high amount of entrance fees and expenses for lunches which were sometimes not even necessary (and could have been included), the price of the journey was at least 50% higher than expected (activity fees were only shared AFTER booking) For the sake of transparency, please provide the information earlier and in more detail.

  Thank you so much to BH Lanka tours. We had a great trip in Sri Lanka. The jeep safari was great and we saw a lot of beautiful elephants including a baby one. We really enjoyed the cultural experience, tuk-tuk rides, visiting beautiful temples and historical remains. Seeing the range of beauty from the mountains and the tea plantations to the beaches in the South East was extraordinary. Pretty well, but the only thing we wouldn’t do again is “feeding the elephants” at the sanctuary, as the staff members weren’t great, the elephants appeared distressed and as it was a long drive, we would rather not have gone there. Sri Lanka, what a great Country, what beautiful and happy people, what incredible physical/geographical extremes in such a small place, what a variety of great food, and great tea. It will always be great, but what made our trip extra special were the 2 men that looked after us! Sakun was our guide and Chaluka was our driver, what a great team. Sakun is smart, sharp and knowledgeable and he is a proud Sri Lankan. He knows his stuff, he appreciates his guests, their desires and accommodated and organised what ever we needed. He always asked and cared about us. Driving in Sri Lanka requires skill, patience, constant awareness to read the road, a temperament befitting of the circumstance, braking smoothly and anticipating the situation ahead, and it was clear that we were in the right hands. Chaluka was a professional driver. So, thank you again for the great trip and we couldn’t have done it without BH Lanka tours and their great team. We really appreciate your arrangements, flexibility and thoughtful hospitality.

  Our family really loved this tour. We travelled with a 4 and a 9 year old and they were really entertained throughout our holiday in Sri Lanka. We found that the tour had the right amount of adventure, culture and more relaxing activities towards the end. Our guide was very sweet, patient and flexible especially with our little ones constant need for snacks, breaks and rest. I would totally recommend this tour, it's a fantastic way to discover all that Sri Lanka has to offer without having to worry about the organisation of the safaris, accommodation and so on.

  We did the 'Classic & Culture Tour' and we had an amazing family adventure of Sri Lanka. In 9 days we travelled the country and saw and did everything we wanted to do. Our boys (11, 9 & 6) loved every day and we have made some fantastic memories. Our guide Sidath was amazing and took care of everything - I couldn't praise him enough. Highly recommend this trip to any family seeking a trip of a lifetime.

  Excellent trip , 5 of us needing 3 rooms went so smoothly. Picked up as requested at the airport to the drop off 2 days later with lovely spacious minibus to take us around, budicca our guide was superb

  Our family tour of Sri-Lanka was amazing. The days were action packed with stunning scenery, wild animals and experiences we will never forget. Our son had the most amazing time and submerged himself in the culture and the food. There was a great balance between adventure, physical activity, wild animals, and chilling out at the hotels by the pool and the beach. The food was delicious too! Our tour guide Buddhika was very knowledgeable and provided us with historical and political facts about the different places we visited. He was very experienced, punctual, reliable, caring, kind, honest and extremely genuine in wanting to give us the best possible tour and experience of Sri-Lanka. We would highly recommend him as a tour guide! Our driver Chinthaka was also very experienced, safe and reliable.
