Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Antananarivo
When you land at Ivato Airport, someone will meet you and take you to your hotel. After you check in, the rest of the day is yours to walk around the city depending on when you actually arrive. You'll have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Antananarivo to Antsirabe
Following breakfast, you'll head to Antsirabe and stop in Ambatolampy along the way to meet craftspeople who make aluminum casseroles. Once in Antsirabe, you can check out Tritriva Lake and Andraikiba Lake, each with interesting local stories attached to them. Later you'll take a rickshaw through the water city before heading back for dinner and overnight.

Antsirabe to Ranomafana
You'll leave after breakfast and travel toward Ranomafana, passing through countryside with rice terraces on both sides. There's a stop in Ambositra to look at the Zafimaniry Arts workshop before checking into your hotel. In the evening, you can go on a night walk to look for chameleons and nocturnal lemurs. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

- Day 4
Ranomafana to Sahambavy
After breakfast, you'll spend the morning in Ranomafana National Park walking through thick evergreen forests. In the afternoon, you'll move on to Sahambavy, which has a nice lake and rice terraces where you can see how local people work. You'll have dinner and stay at the hotel for the night.

Sahambavy to Ambalavao
Start with breakfast and then head to tea plantations where you can learn how tea gets made and try some local varieties. Later you'll go through Fianarantsoa for a city tour that shows off its older buildings and history. After lunch you'll travel to Ambalavao to see Antemoro paper making and silk workshops. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Ambalavao to Ranohira
Following breakfast, you'll visit the Community Reserve of Anja near Ambalavao where you can see lemurs, chameleons, and snakes all in one area. From there you'll travel through open grassland toward Isalo, arriving in Ranohira by midday. Lunch is included during the journey. You'll have dinner and stay at the hotel.

Isalo National Park
You'll spend your entire day in Isalo National Park, which has a distinctive rocky terrain from the Jurassic period. You can hike through the natural swimming pool area and the Namaza circuit to see the blue and black pools, then go for a swim at the nymph cascade. A picnic lunch is provided. You'll spend the night at the hotel.

Ranohira to Ifaty
After breakfast you'll travel through Antandroy territory, passing through Ilakaka, a village where people mine sapphires. You'll arrive in Toliara for lunch and then visit the Antsokay Arboretum to see plants and animals that live only in southern Madagascar. Later you'll head to Ifaty for dinner and overnight.

Ifaty
You have two free days to do whatever you'd like. You can swim, go diving, take a local pirogue boat to explore the fishing village, or visit the baobab forest. The hotel staff can suggest activities and help you arrange whatever interests you.

Ifaty to Antananarivo
After breakfast, you'll get a ride to Tulear Airport for your flight to Antananarivo. Once you land at the capital, you'll be picked up and taken to your hotel. You'll have lunch at the restaurant, and if you want you can check out the craft market to look at local handmade items. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

- Day 12
Antananarivo Departure
After breakfast you'll drive on RN3 to see the Royal Palace in Ambohimanga Rova. Along the way you'll stop at Padre Pio Charity House, which works with autistic children and young people. If your flight allows, you might visit the dam market for handicrafts. The team will have a free dinner before you check out and head to the airport for your flight.
