Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo to Negombo
You'll land at Colombo International Airport where your company representative meets you for the transfer to your hotel in Negombo. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to settle into the area and get your bearings.
- Day 2
Negombo to Sigiriya
Following breakfast, you're heading to Sigiriya with a stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where you can watch the elephants bathe and feed them yourself. Once you reach Sigiriya and check in, the evening involves climbing the 200-meter high rock fortress to take in the ancient fresco paintings and mirror wall up close.

Sigiriya to Kandy
After breakfast you'll travel toward Kandy, stopping first at the Dambulla Cave Temple complex and then at a herbal Spice Garden near Matale to see how local plants are grown. In Kandy itself, you'll check out the Temple of the Tooth Relic and catch a traditional cultural show that evening before heading to your hotel.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
You'll spend the morning on a city tour of Kandy that includes the Royal Botanical Garden. Then you're off to Nuwara Eliya with stops along the way to walk through famous tea fields, visit a tea factory, and see Ramboda waterfall before arriving at your hotel to unwind.

Nuwara Eliya to Ella
The morning is relaxed at the hotel after breakfast. During the afternoon, you'll board a scenic train from Nanu Oya to Ella, watching the mountain landscape roll past your window the whole journey before you arrive and settle into your hotel for the night.

Ella to Yala
Early on you'll climb Little Adam's Peak and visit the Nine Arch Bridge, timing it to see a train pass through if possible. Then you're heading to Yala for a 4x4 jeep safari in the evening where you might spot leopards, wild elephants, birds and other wildlife in the national park.

Yala to Hikkaduwa
You're traveling to Hikkaduwa for your beach stay after breakfast, but first you'll stop at the historic Galle Dutch Fort to walk through the fortified old city with its stone sea walls and buildings that show off Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial influence over the centuries.

Hikkaduwa to Colombo
On your final day, you're heading to Colombo after breakfast with a stop at a turtle hatchery. Once there, you'll take a city tour that includes Gangarama Temple, Seemamalakaya, Galle Face Green and the Old Parliament Building before leaving for the airport for your evening flight.
