  Prior to departing all correspondence was answered promptly. Our tour guide in Sicily was extremely hard to understand with his heavy accent. Also our group was large not a small group. We had 45 people on our tour.There were 3 nationalities,English, Spanish and Italian. Our tour guide spoke poor English and only spoke direct to Spanish speaking and Italian people. When we approached him one on one to have things clarified,we were very much dismissed.The tour guy spoke at length in other languages and very little English. Also as per the itinerary ,it was not clearly set out that everyday the excursions were extra to be paid in cash only. We found this awkward and soon ran out of cash taken . The way the itinerary reads ,we assumed that the day trips were always paid in our booking. Upon reaching Malta and a new tour guide , our group was small and the guide was wonderful,happy and helpful.

  When visiting Churches and other historical sites more time should have been given for us to explore on our own. A lot of time was wasted because the guide had to recite everything in 3 languages. Many from our group would have liked more time at Mt Etna to take the cable car to top. Some of the meals that were provided were very repetitive.

  The Tour (Secrets of Sicily) was excellent. The organization and guide were great and friendly and the weather really played its part well. There was only I recommendation from me which the whole tour group agreed on. The day we returned to Catania we went to see Mt. Etna, we all agreed that the stay there was way too short, and we would have gladly given up on the Beehive and Honey tasting experience, which we could do in Australia. So, tell the Italian/ Sicilian organisers to EXTEND Mt. Etna Visit and remove the Beehive visit. PLEASE
