xiufang· September 30th, 2025It's great! Compact schedule, different experience! The scenery is spectacular and beautiful, so unforgettable!Show moreTrip date: September 2025- FBFaye Saldana Pantaleonn· September 23rd, 2025This was a great tour The guide was very knowledgeable about Iceland & its history.. He shared his personal stories which were interesting! The first and last hotel could be better. No phone ,or TV to pass the time for relaxationShow moreTrip date: September 2025
 - BBBELINDA· September 10th, 2025There was an issue with the itinerary. As we booked so far in advance, there were a few changes. Although we still visited all the sites, the changes meant we couldn’t follow our itinerary, and the stopover night locations where different.Show moreTrip date: July 2025

 - AAnonymous· April 21st, 2025Really enjoyed the five day tour and saw some fabulous nature and scenery. My only criticism is that we did see a lot of things duplicated like many beaches and the driver was sometimes using his mobile phone and driving with one hand which with some very high winds was a little alarming.Show moreTrip date: April 2025
 - DMDaniela· April 20th, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishUnfortunately, we were told right at the start of the tour that we wouldn't be able to see any auroras. In the end, we did see them, but we didn't actively look or drive to a nearby, cloudless area where we could have seen them much better and more spectacularly. After dropping off at our accommodation, we had to take care of ourselves. Therefore, the term "Northern Lights tour" does not fit for this. However, the landscape and everything else was spectacular.Show moreTrip date: April 2025
 - CBCheryle· April 8th, 2025Amazing - well organised, punctual and wonderful tour operatorsShow moreTrip date: March 2025
 - CGChristopher· March 30th, 2025A nicely planned trip with a full itinerary. As an observation, a trip with Northern Lights in the title should have a dedicated plan to search for the lights. Each night the response from our guide was, “Be on the lookout tonight and let the group know if you see them.” I thought the food at the hotel Geirland was overpriced and limited in options. The tour itself was nice, and I am glad I took it. Others should be aware of what you may experience.Show moreTrip date: March 2025
 - JAJulian· March 9th, 2025The tour was well organized and the guide (Vignir) was everything you would want a guide to be with his knowledge and stories.Show moreTrip date: February 2025

Marilyn· February 14th, 2025We had the 5 day tour which was broken down to a 2 day & a 3 day tour. The 3 day tour got cancelled due to weather & it left us stranded to find a hotel for 2 nights. I enjoyed the 2 day tour with our tour guide who was very helpful, but the whole tour in general could use a good update on communication. To start, I had no idea on the hotel arrangements for the last day. I've traveled a lot of different tour groups & each one had one thing in common. the first day of the tour is considered the day before the actual tour starts & the last day always ends with breakfast/checkout day. This way everyone is at the same hotel for pickup. The other thing is that there was no dinner included at the hotels that are very remote. We were stuck with very expensive bad food. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed with Arctic Adventures.Show moreTrip date: February 2025

Asked on September 27th, 2025I am a solo traveler and want to confirm the price and a few details. Does it matter where our hotels are in Reykjavik when being picked up and dropped off on day 1 and 5 or do we just let you know where we are staying and will be picked up accordingly? Are there any hot springs included in the tour to bath in? What is the extra charge if I was to also the Vatnshellir cave on day 1?
Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025We suggest booking one of the hotels on the list or accommodation near one of the bus stops. Alternatively, you can book accommodation first and then reach out to us to check which pick-up spot is the closest. Unfortunately, this tour doesn't include any hot spring or bath visits at the moment. The price of the tour is 2,469.17 AUD. The Vatnshellir extra tour would cost 56.7 AUD more.

Asked on September 6th, 2025Do I have the option to sign up optional tours and rent jackets, pants before tour? Can we rent the spikes or bring our own for hiking the glacier? What are the designated hotels for pick up before the tour & drop off after the tour in Reykjavik?
Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025It is possible to add optional activities and extras for your tour. You would have to book your pre and post-tour accommodation by yourself. The previously mentioned hotels are set as our authorized pick-up locations and we would be able to pick you up/drop you off directly at/from your hotel.

Traveler•Written September 2025What is suggested tip for tour guides?

Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025Our guides do not expect to be tipped during their tour it is completely up to the customer to decide. Most of our guides are happy to receive a great review rather than a tip. However, if you wish to tip the guide, you could do that at the end of your tour, the amount of tip is up to you.

Asked on May 4th, 2025I am looking at options for 4 adults viewing the highlights of Iceland, including the northern lights, glaciers.
Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written May 2025The 5-day Snaefellsnes, South Coast and Northern Lights tour is a great option! Our five-day tour from West to East is a great way to explore some of the most staggering and coveted sights in Iceland. Snaefellsnes Peninsula, named the ultimate winter destination by Travel & Leisure, invites you on a journey through unique and offbeat rural landscapes.

Asked on April 25th, 2025Are the tours compatible for singles and in booking when should I plan my flights to the destination and return
Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written April 2025Our tours are suitable for solo travelers. If you want to enjoy the comfort of your own room, you would have to select the additional extra - single room supplement. If you are fine with sharing the room with another traveler of the same gender, you can skip on adding the single room fee to the booking. We recommend arriving to the country on a day before and leaving on a day after the tour. We only provide accommodation for the duration of the tour.

What town and hotel are the accommodations in? Are there special pickup and drop off locations? Can luggage be stored in Reykjavic at the tour office? How many bags allowed per person on the group tour? What is a typical group size? and mode of transportation?

As for lunch and dinner, will Vegan options be available at the locations? are we allowed to carry our own food? What is the fee to store luggage? any time restrictions for luggage check-in and checkout? I understand that the second night on the itinerary is in Reykjavic, is there any sightseeing included within the city center? Any suggestions for pickup and drop off service to and from the airport to city center?

Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written April 20251. We cannot guarantee that the vegan options will be available in all of the locations you will be staying during the tour. However, the hotels you will be staying in will have a variety of meals, so you will have a choice there. Yes, you are allowed to carry your own food for the tour. 2. Each participant is allowed to bring a small backpack and 1 piece of luggage weighing a maximum of 20 kg (44 lbs). 4. Asked on March 28th, 2025Does this tour travel for the entire five days together with the same group and not get combined with other groups or spit up?
Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written March 2025The tour consists of two adventures - 2 and 3 day tours. The group will split after the 1st part of 5-day tour is finished and you will join a new group on the 2nd part of the tour. However, even though that the groups change a little bit, our customers still manage to bond and enjoy their adventure.

Asked on March 11th, 2025Do you have a way to do this or do you have an alternate tour that ends either the 19th late?
Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written March 2025Unfortunately, the 5-day tour returns to Reykjavik on the evening of the 20th of June. We would recommend looking at a 4-day tour (South Coast, Ice Cave, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon & West Iceland) that is very similar, but lasts one day less and you would be returning to Reykjavik on the evening of 19th of June.
