Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Boumalne Dades
Your driver picks you up at 8:00 AM from your Marrakech accommodation and heads through the High Atlas Mountains. You'll stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed 17th-century kasbah that's been used as a filming location for several major movies including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. After lunch near the kasbah, you'll walk through Kasbah Taourirt and continue through Skoura, the Valley of Roses, and Kalaat Megouna before reaching Boumalne Dades for dinner and your first night.

Boumalne Dades to Merzouga
Following breakfast, you'll drive to Todra Gorge in Tinghir where you can explore the area and enjoy hiking opportunities. From there you'll pass through the desert towns of Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga at the Sahara's edge. You'll have traditional mint tea, then head out on a two-hour camel trek to your desert camp. Your evening includes dinner, campfires, and local desert music under the stars.

Merzouga to Fes
After breakfast, you'll drive to Fes via Errachidia and through the Ziz Valley's rocky passage. The route takes you through Midelt, a commercial center in an agricultural region, and then into the Cedar forests where you might see Barbary macaques. You'll pass through Ifran with its alpine-style architecture and ski slopes, then arrive in Fes by early evening to settle into your accommodation.

Fes
You'll spend the day checking out Fes's historical sites, starting with Madrasa El Bouinania, a high point of Marinid architecture from 1351-56. Then you'll see El Quaraoiyin mosque and University, which holds the UNESCO and Guinness World Records distinction as the oldest continuously operating higher education institution. You'll also walk through the Pottery Village, visit Nejjarine Square and the South tower, see the king's residence, and have free time to wander around the city. You'll stay overnight in Fes.

Fes to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, you'll drive to Chefchaouen with a stop in Meknes to see its imperial sites and the famous Bab Mansour gate with its intricate arches and mosaic tiling. From there you'll head to Volubilis, the former capital of the Mauretania kingdom. By evening you'll arrive in Chefchaouen to explore its distinctive blue-washed buildings, Place Outa el Hammam with its red-walled 15th-century Kasbah, and the Ethnographic Museum. You'll have free time to wander around before your overnight stay.

Chefchaouen to Casablanca
Starting after breakfast, you'll drive to Rabat to see two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Oudaya and Hassan Tower, a minaret from an incomplete mosque built in 1195 by the third Caliph of the Almohad Caliphate. You'll also visit the Mohammed V Mausoleum, which holds the tombs of Mohammad V, Hassan II, and Prince Abdallah. Later you'll continue to Casablanca to see Hassan II Mosque, finished in 1993 with the world's second-tallest minaret at 210 meters. You'll stay overnight in Casablanca.

Casablanca to Marrakech
You'll drive back to Marrakech via the highway. Once you arrive, your driver will help with your luggage and get you settled into your accommodation, bringing your tour to an end.
