Had a great 10 days in Egypt. Starting with a great driver, Islam, double as guide ( at white and black desert) and eventually pick us up after our river Nile cruise to the airport. All in all a great personality, hard to forget and tried his best at all time to justify his role ( just that he can be ‘less a policeman on road’). River Nile cruise we had Khaled the guide. He managed to a little United Nations made up of Indian, Colombian, Puerto Rican, Moroccan, Kenyan and Singaporean. Great PR to handle us and much appreciated! Thanks again also to the team mates for the great trip!

Well organized, excursions and transportation always punctual and on time. Always friendly guides. More or earlier communication would sometimes be nice (e.g. what time to meet etc.). Regarding accommodation (hotel, cruise, desert accommodation, night train) perhaps not very realistically presented. It would also be useful for travelers to get an idea of all additional costs so that you can estimate more clearly how much will be added.

This is not our first time in Egypt, but this time we chose the trip that included all the landmarks we had planned to visit, a very organized program, punctual timings, tourist guides, specialists, and frankly, the Nile Cruise trip from Aswan to Luxor, was like dreams. We were arrivied aswan by the sleeping train and we found tour guide, Mr. Khaled Al-Saady, waiting for us when the train arrives in Aswan train station , is an honest person Elegant and comfortable. We went to the Nile cruise ship. The boat is wonderful and has all the services. The food is excellent. During the 4 days with Mr. Khaled, we visited many places, the Temple of Philae, and the Temple of Abu Simbel. The trip to the Nubian village was unforgettable, as well as the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Karnak, and a hot air balloon., we highly recommend this trip, and we also recommend the tour guide, Khaled

This tour was a really good deal and an excellent way to see a lot of Egypt. On our arrival, we were picked up really conveniently at the airport and taken to our first hotel by Islam. The two days in Cairo were private just the two of us, with the same driver and an excellent tour guide, Ashraf. Following this, again just the two of us, we headed into the desert which was a really excellent adventure. The overnight camping was just us with the driver who also cooked the most amazing food and really looked after us. I highly recommend this part of the tour. The overnight train, once you are on, is really calm and organised. Your cabin is completely private and there is a member of staff per carriage who will bring you dinner and breakfast, look after you and make sure you get off at the right time. On arrival we were again met with another driver and guide, the rest of the tour we were with a small group, and it was nice to get to know others. The Nile cruise is really popular, at least 20 big boats doing the exact same itinerary, but again at every sight we stopped at we had a guide waiting to meet just our group. We continued staying on the boat in Luxor, which was the best place of the whole visit. As stated the tour did not include entrance fees. Every single historic sight and museum took card not cash, and we spent £330 on this covering both of us. In addition, we took Egyptian pounds and spent the equivalent of £500 GBP, on meals, tips and other various things. The tour was very well organised, like I said a guide met us personally every single time, however sometimes we were the last to know the plan and it took a little bit of trust to just wait and find out. My only other advice is that Egypt can be a little chaotic, so have your wits about you and watch out for people trying to offer services for money (people trying to take photos with you, trying to carry your bags etc.). This was not a problem when with our guides, only when we explored by ourselves.

Great trip! Khaled the guide was awesome, very knowledgable & shared interesting stories at the places we visited! Would recommend a tour with him for your any of your travels in Egypt! Would also say, skip the sleeper train if possible! Fly to Aswan & back to Cairo, or take the train one way to get the ‘full experience’!
