Vasuhi· November 27th, 2019The Tour Operator Exciting Africa Holidays changed the entire tour around without even advising me. I only found out in the day if the tour. Something did not seem right about the Lodge in Mara and I checked my original itinerary last night. I was supposed to stay at the Mara Sun Lodge and not the Enkorok. I remember reading about the Mara Sun lodge and the beautiful location in the park. Albert of Exciting Africa Holidays assured me that nothing on the Kenya part of the trip has changed, so I did not bother to check, except that Enkorok did not seem right to me. I am sorry to say that he played me out and cheated me, So what I have not got is 02 nights at Mara Sun Lodge, instead I got that Enkorok Lodge, which is less than half the price of the Mara Sun Lodge. A sub-Standard hotel in Arusha, instead of the Serengeti Wild camp. Itinerary changed to accommodate others who have to get back to Nairobi, so I had to come all the way back to Nairobi and then travel another 4 hours to the Tanzania border and from the border another 2 hours to Arusha and stay overnight at a rubbishy hotel in Arusha. I lost one night at Serengeti. The worst part is that this Albert assured me that nothing changed on the Kenya part of the tour. The following is the breakdown of what I have lost. 03 entrances in Mara and 03 into Serengeti. I only got 02 in each place so USD 80.00 for 1 less drive In Mara and USD 60.00 for 1 less drive in Serengeti. Difference in price between Mara Sun Lodge and Enkorok; approximately 200 USD per night x 02 nights = USD 400.00 Difference in price between Impala Hotel and Serengeti Wild Camp; aporiximately 160 USD. In total you have played me out and cheated me of USD 750 to 780.00 approximately. The 50 USD for transport to Kilimanjaro airport makes no difference, either way. Tour Radar, please contact this operator and Kindly let me know at your earliest, what you would like to do. I can forward you the itinerary that was given to me at the starting point of the tour on 14 November by an Edmond who thrust it into my hand, after he took the Payne t of USD 1050 for Park entry fees and before I could read and digest any of the new itinerary .
