Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi
Your flight lands at Noi Bai Airport where a driver will meet you for the transfer to your hotel in the Old Quarter. After you get settled in your room, the rest of the day is yours to explore. Wander through the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, pop into local shops and cafes, then head to the night market in downtown Hanoi once things get busy after dark. It's a good way to get your bearings and grab some street food without any pressure.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
A hotel driver picks you up between 7:45 and 8:30 AM for the 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay. Once you reach Tuan Chau Harbor, you'll board your cruise and get shown to your air-conditioned cabin. Lunch is served while you float past the dramatic limestone rock formations, then you'll stop at Sung Sot Cave to explore inside. After that, head to Titop Island where you can swim or hike up to the viewpoint for views across the bay. Back on the boat for sunset, dinner follows with ocean views, and the evening might include squid fishing or karaoke depending on what appeals to you.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
Rise early to catch the sunrise from the sundeck with hot tea or coffee in hand, then settle in for breakfast. Later in the morning, visit a pearl farm where staff explain how pearls are cultivated and harvested. From there, rent a kayak and paddle around the bay on your own, exploring smaller coves and rock formations at your own speed. Lunch happens while cruising back to Tuan Chau Harbour, then you'll board a shuttle bus back to Hanoi with a stop along the way in Hai Duong province.

You have two tour options to pick from for this day. Option 1 covers Hoa Lu, Tam Coc, and Mua Cave, while Option 2 includes Bai Dinh, Trang An, and Mua Cave. Both routes let you see karst landscapes and caves in the Ninh Binh region, just with different specific sites and approaches. Decide which combination interests you more based on what kind of activities and scenery you prefer.

Hanoi
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll have free time to relax, do some last minute shopping, or grab coffee. A driver will pick you up later in the day to take you to the airport for your departure flight. Make sure to pack the night before and confirm your pickup time with the hotel front desk.
