Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Maasai Mara
You'll depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive south toward Maasai Mara, with a stop to see the Great Rift Valley along the way. The drive takes you through changing landscapes before you grab lunch in Narok. By mid-afternoon you'll arrive at the reserve and head out on an evening game drive starting around 4pm/16:00. After dinner you'll stay overnight at the lodge.

Maasai Mara
This is a full day for game drives in Maasai Mara. You can start with an early morning drive and then catch another at sunset to track wildlife. There's an optional hot air balloon safari if you want something different, which includes champagne breakfast on the plains. If you'd rather take it easier, you can relax at the lodge in the morning and just do an afternoon drive instead. Either way, dinner and overnight stay follow at the lodge.

Maasai Mara to Serengeti
You'll have an early breakfast, then start an enroute game drive heading toward Isebania border crossing. After handling immigration and meeting your new driver, you'll continue into Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive. Fair warning though, it's a long driving day so you should prepare for a tiring stretch. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge wrap up the day.

Serengeti
Wake up before dawn for a sunrise game drive hunting for big cats across the landscape. After breakfast, you'll spend the full day on the Serengeti plains searching for the Big Five and, if the timing works out, you might catch the Wildebeest Migration. You'll navigate through kopjes where lions hang out and get views of the wildlife against Tanzania's stunning scenery. Dinner and overnight at the lodge follow.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast you'll drive back through the Serengeti on a different route this time, heading toward Ngorongoro Crater National Park and opening up fresh chances to see wildlife. You'll spot large herds of wildebeest and zebras on the move, plus giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, and elephants. Predators like cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and lions are out there too. Dinner and overnight accommodation is on the crater rim or in nearby Karatu Town.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast you'll head to Ngorongoro Crater and take in the panoramic viewpoint. Then you descend into the crater itself for a full game drive where you can spot over 120 mammal species including the Big Five, black rhinos, hippos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, and cape buffalo. A picnic lunch happens by the hippo pool, and then you'll drive back to Arusha in the evening.
