The route was frankly ridiculous, way to long ,the way I made it was by not doing gravel, but state roads, not what I wanted but the only way to get from hotel to hotel. Also I did climb the 1500meter mountain between France and Spain, it was a challenge and you mentioning age group to 90 years old is deceiving. But I had a challenging great time, just what I signed up for

We have our Trans-Dolomites Challenge running 22nd - 29th September, could these dates work for you? We have a nice group of 6 riders already signed up and the Stelvio is a highlight of the trip!

If you are doubting about your level for this itinery, I would suggest taking a look at the Trans-Dolomites Challenge Tour. It's a very similar tour, (same location) but the rides are easier and in most of our dates we have intermediate level so I think this option will be suitable for both of you.

    • Eat Sleep CycleOperatorWritten March 2024

Our grooup sizes tend to be between 6 - 8 guests per tour. Our trips are fully supported with cycling guides on the road and a support vehicle providing food and mechanical assistance. The bikes are road bikes - high end climbing machines for best enjoying the mountains.
