- MBMaja Barbara· June 28th, 2024The tour was more than I could have wish for. Ian an excellent tour guide, driver and story teller, the hotel pier house just wonderful and we had so much fun in our group. Thank you so much!Show moreTrip date: June 2024

- LNLurie· July 30th, 2022The driver/guide changed the agenda the first day --- suggested we take the ferry rather than drive over the bridge. We were each charged 2.5 pounds for the ferry. He said the drive was more scenic. The ferry ride was about 5 minutes. This change caused us to not have time to tour Eileen Donan castle on the last day due to time restrictions. We were only able to drive to the castle and take pictures from a distance. Also, the driver (John) had a music agenda. He started playing LOUD music first thing on tour departure. I asked him to turn the volume down and his response was to push the button by my seat to close the speaker. That does no good in a 16 person van. Those of us in the back did not like listening to loud music non stop for 3 days. I have done many tours and never have experienced such inconsideration from a driver/guide. He could have turned the volume down and also had some quiet time on the van for those resting in the morning or late afternoon.Show moreTrip date: July 2022

- CMchristine· June 23rd, 2019Fraser was a very friendly, courteous, informative tour guide, careful driver in fact we all loved him. What can we say!! The hotel staff were very friendly, particularly the girls in the dining room. Breakfast was excellent and dinner very good..... haggis/black pudding with honey. Yummy! Felt it was a bit expensive to upgrade to hotel and also for a single supplement. The rooms were clean and beds comfy. The bus was nice except there are no cup holders or trays, not even a mesh pocket for bits and bobs!!! All in all, we five ladies had a great time. - DPDavid· March 26th, 2019We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Stewart was an excellent guide. I liked hearing all about Scottish history and culture. He was a great driver and was able to manage the winding roads well. He was able to find alternative sight seeing excursions when the weather wasn't co-operating. All in all, it was a great trip and we would highly recommend it!Show moreTrip date: March 2019
- RURoyale· October 11th, 2018This was the first time I'd traveled with Rabbie's tours and I was very happy with the experience. It was a lot for 3 days, but at no time did it feel rushed. We had one day of beautiful sunshine, one day of torrential rain, and one mixed day. Despite the weather, John found things to give us a true feel of the Isle of Skye. I was travelling alone and got a single room at the Tongadale. It is a cozy older style hotel, with a restaurant and bar. When I checked in the first floor hallway and my room were very hot (over 26C). I turned off the radiator which was blasting heat, and opened the window. For the two nights the room stayed very warm. I was in room 105, which I believe was over the kitchen. I could hear the kitchen extraction fan which was turned on at 6:45am. It also ran until the kitchen closed at 9:00pm. The bathroom was small and basic, but the real downside was that it smelt like the grease from the kitchen below it. I kept the door closed to keep the smell out of the rest of the room. On a whole, I loved my Rabbie's tour, and would use them again for other adventures.Show moreTrip date: October 2018
- AAAnita· January 15th, 2018The Isle of Skye tour was fantastic. As a single female traveller, I thought it was a safe, secure and extremely reasonably priced getaway. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I can't stop recommending this tour to everyone. If you like gorgeous mountains, lakes and natural beauty - this trip is for you. There is mild hiking involved - but you don't have to participate in these mini excursions if you can't. Our tour guide, Ian, was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, proudly Scottish and he played the best contemporary, classic and folk Scottish Music to accompany our tour. Accommodations were very clean and affordable.Show moreTrip date: January 2018
