Itinerary
- Day 1
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll head out to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's third largest park. The area's known for having an unusually large elephant population, so you'll spend the day on a game drive along the Tarangire River. You'll be looking for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and thousands of elephants moving around beneath the baobab trees.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, you'll start a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park with a packed lunch to eat along the way. During the drive, you'll pass by the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, then spend the afternoon and evening doing game drives in the Serengeti. Your focus will be on spotting large predators and herbivores before sunset.

Serengeti National Park
This is your first full day in the Serengeti with morning, afternoon, and evening game drives. Your driver-guide will help you track the great migration and spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and various bird species. You can choose between a boxed lunch in the park or heading back to the lodge for a hot meal.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
You'll start early with a morning game drive and breakfast box in the park so you can eat at a picnic site and catch nocturnal animals like lions, hyenas, and cheetahs still active. By midday, you'll head back to the lodge for an early hot lunch, then pack your bags for the journey to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
After breakfast, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the highest wild animal density anywhere. The game drive and picnic lunch happen right within the crater's 2000 ft high walls where you'll see the big five and many other species including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and rhinos. Later you'll drive to Karatu for the night.

Karatu to Zanzibar
After breakfast, you'll drive to Mto wa Mbu to spend two hours experiencing local Maasai life and culture. From there, you'll head to Arusha airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Once you land, a representative will meet you and take you to Mnaran Beach Resort.

Zanzibar Stone Town
In the morning, you'll take a guided tour of Stone Town, Zanzibar's historic heart where history feels frozen in time. You'll visit the House of Wonders, Palace Museum, and Arab Fort. After that, you'll wander through the bustling markets and winding alleyways, passing ornately carved doors, cathedrals, antique mosques, and colorful spice markets.

After breakfast and depending on your flight schedule, you'll have time to shop for souvenirs around town. Then you'll head to Zanzibar airport to catch your flight home, wrapping up the tour.
