Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Tel Aviv

    You'll arrive in Israel and get settled into your hotel in Tel Aviv. An airport transfer is available if you want it, though there's an extra charge for that service. This gives you time to rest up after your flight and get oriented to the city.

  2. Day 2

    Tel Aviv to Acre

    Starting from Tel Aviv, you'll head north along the coast to Caesarea where you can walk through Roman ruins, check out the ancient theatre and aqueduct. From there, the route takes you to Muhraka for views across the Jezreel Valley, then to Megiddo's archaeological site to see the water system. You'll stop in Acre to wander the UNESCO Old City, visit the Crusader underground crypt, browse the local market and harbor. By evening you'll reach Kinar Galilee Hotel.

  3. Day 3

    Sea of Galilee Region

    This morning starts with a tour of Tiberias, and then you'll take a boat out on the Sea of Galilee to visit the Yigal Alon center and see the ancient 1st-century Jesus boat. After that, you'll head to Capernaum to see the remains of a 2nd-century synagogue, then stop at Tabgha to view the Church of Multiplication with its 4th-century mosaic floor. Before heading back to the hotel, you'll visit Mount of Beatitudes, tour Banias Springs and explore the Golan Heights. You'll return to Kinar Galilee Hotel for the night.

    Cana to Jerusalem

    You'll drive to Cana to visit the Wedding Church, the site connected to Jesus's first miracle. From there, continue to Nazareth where you can explore the Church of Annunciation, Joseph's workshop, and Mary's well. Later you'll stop at the Yardenit baptismal site on the Jordan River, then head to Beit Shean to see the newly excavated Roman city and amphitheatre. The day finishes with a drive through the Jordan Valley and into Jerusalem for your overnight stay.

    Jerusalem

    You'll start from Mount of Olives to take in the panoramic city views, then visit the Church of All Nations. Next, head to Mount Zion to see King David's Tomb and the Last Supper room. After that, you'll enter the Old City and walk the ancient Roman Cardo road, moving through the Jewish and Christian quarters while viewing the Temple Mount. From there, you'll walk the Via Dolorosa past the oriental bazaar to reach the Church of Holy Sepulchre. The day wraps up at the peaceful Garden Tomb.

  6. Day 6

    Jerusalem to Bethlehem and Return

    Beginning in Ein Karem, you'll visit the Church of Visitation, then head to Yad Vashem to explore the Holocaust memorial. After that, you'll spend time at the Israel Museum, checking out the Shrine of the Book (which houses the Dead Sea scrolls) and viewing a miniature model of the Second Temple Jerusalem. Later in the day, you'll travel to Bethlehem to visit Shepherds' Field and the Church of Nativity in Manger Square before returning to Jerusalem for the night.

    Dead Sea Region

    You'll drive through the Judean Hills to reach Qumran caves, where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. From there, continue along the Dead Sea shores to Massada. You'll take the cable car up to King Herod's mountain fortress and tour the walls, water cistern and palace remains before heading back down. To finish the day, you'll go to the Dead Sea to float in the mineral-rich water and apply the therapeutic mud. The return drive brings you back to Jerusalem.
