  • Day 1

    Moshi Arrival & Preparation

    Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,650m)

    Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp (3,610m)

    Shira 2 to Barranco Camp (3,900m)

    Barranco to Karanga to Barafu Camp

    Summit Day - Barafu to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) to Millennium Camp

    Begin your midnight trek in darkness. Temperatures range from -10°C to -20°C so wear all your layers. The round trip to the summit takes 8-12 hours. Your personal guide watches you closely. Celebrate at Uhuru Peak then descend to Millennium Camp.

    Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate to Moshi
