- ASAlexandra· October 2nd, 2024Buyer beware: scam tour company. This tour was the worst tour I’ve ever been on. I’ve always been on four or five star tours but this was rubbish. This tour guide was inexperienced. There are hidden costs which are misleading, and mean that whilst the tour may look like a bargain, you should expect to pay 400 more at least per person, if not more, to just do the basic tour, without any of the additions. Without the additions, the tour is being driven around to tourist shops where pushy staff intimate you. The tour guide was aggressive and shouted at multiple tour goers and offered almost no explanation on the sites. He was confusing and lost his trial of thought and would just trail off and not explain the sites clearly. It was very odd :( The tour is over priced for what you get also, which is really just someone driving you around, as you have to pay for everything else. The company asked us to pay for extras as soon as we got there, and we realised that they were actually pocketing money from some of the tickets as we looked at the ticket prices online. They only reimbursed us when we called them out. So if you do this tour, be aware that they will scam you where they can. I asked the tour guide if he could ask the staff in the stores we went to, to back off a bit and let us browse, and he shouted at me about this too. Other tour goers were shocked and asked if I was okay because his behaviour was disgusting. The food choices on the road were terrible. We would drive by multiple restaurants, only to be forced to go into tourist trap restaurants or gas station restaurants which had disgusting food. We kept asking to go to other places but the guide refused (clearly didn’t want to miss out on commission) and I saw him shout at other tour goers who had food allergies for wanting to check that the food was okay for them to eat :( My advice: pick another tour.Show more

There'll be an opportunity to do the hot air balloon tour. We pre-book it for all the travellers on our tours which can be booked and paid in cash when you are in Turkey after your guide checks the weather conditions as sometimes it gets cancelled due to weather conditions. The minimum age limit is 12 on our Gulet Tours. If your children are older than 12, we can offer 1 double room and 1 twin room. If your children are between 8-12, we can recommend other group tours but if your children are younger than 8, we can only recommend our semi-independent tours or private tours.

I would also like to know what a Gulet Cabin is? I think that means you are staying in a boat cabin but I'm assuming you are not going anywhere but just staying in a Gulet Cabin in the harbour?

Wonders of Turkey Tour is a road trip including 3 days sailing but on Day 12 it is possible to skip Ankara and fly to Istanbul from Cappadocia with an additional cost.
