Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Siwa
You'll leave Cairo early and head toward Siwa Oasis, making a stop at the Alamein World War II Museum to see military artifacts and learn about the North African campaign. It's a good spot to get some context before moving on. After that, you'll drive to the coastal town of Marsa Matrouh where you'll break for lunch and stretch your legs. From there, continue on to Siwa and settle into your eco-lodge. It's a long travel day but relatively relaxed once you arrive.

- Day 2
Siwa
This morning, start exploring Siwa's history by walking through the Old City of Shali, where mud-brick buildings and tight alleys show how people lived centuries ago. Then head to the Temple of the Oracle at Aghurmi and the Temple of Amun Ra at Um Ubeyda to see the ancient religious sites. Later, take a refreshing dip at Cleopatra's Spring (the water's warm and nice). You'll also pop into the Siwa House Museum to see local culture and artifacts. Before heading back, catch the sunset from Fitnas Island for views across the area.

- Day 3
Siwa Desert Safari
Set out early from Maraki Village for an off-road desert safari. You'll visit Gebel Al Dakrour where archaeologists found one of the oldest human footprints, then explore a fossil zone with ancient coral formations scattered around. Next, head to Shiata Lake where flamingos gather and you can swim if you want. Sandboarding is available if that interests you. After that, stop at Bir Wahed, a natural hot spring where you can relax before the drive back to your eco-lodge.

- Day 4
Siwa
Start your day at Mountain of the Dead (Gabal El Maouta) where rock-cut tombs line the mountainside. You'll see the tombs of Si Amon and MSW Isis, plus the Crocodile Tomb with its decorative carvings. Then head up Dakrour Mountain for panoramic views across Siwa and the desert. Later, visit Abu Sherouf village to experience traditional Bedouin life and see Roman Spring. Return to the hotel by evening for dinner.

Siwa to Cairo
After breakfast, pack up and head back to Cairo. The drive takes several hours, but you'll be transferred directly to your accommodation upon arrival for an overnight stay.
