Accra to Mole National Park
Leave Accra for Kotoka and catch a domestic flight to Tamale. From there, transfer to Zaina Lodge at Mole National Park, a luxury 5-star property on an escarpment with views of watering holes. After settling in, head out on an evening safari to see what wildlife the park has to offer.

Mole National Park
Start early with a morning foot safari guided through the park to spot animals. Mole National Park to Kumasi
Fly back to Accra and connect to Kumasi, the former Ashanti Kingdom's capital with nearly a million people. This city held real power until British annexation in the late 1800s. Spend time at the sprawling central market, one of Africa's largest, where you'll find Ashanti crafts, leather goods, pottery, Kente cloth, and fresh tropical produce.

Kumasi

Kumasi to Cape Coast
Head out early toward Cape Coast. Stop at Assin Manso to see the burial site where former slaves from the U.S. and Jamaica were re-interred during Ghana's first Emancipation Day in August 1998. Visit the 'Slave River' where captured Africans were washed before facing the Slave Castles. Take part in PANAFEST events including the Reverential Night with vigil and candle-lit processions honoring ancestors.
