Customer Reviews
- Sarita· May 14th, 2025We had a great trip to Peru and Equator Aoril ~May of 2025. Everything was arranged according to what was stated and planned- all pickups be it at the airport or for the day trips were on time. We had great tour guides. My only suggestion would be better rooms in some of the hotels that were picked- in two of the hotels we got rooms where they could have done better- Guayaquil and Cusco being the two places. Shout out to our tour planner Ronnie- did a great job and was very responsive- thanks!Show more
- James· March 19th, 2025My. Colombia tour was terrific all my guides and drivers were terrific I’m looking forward to to another trip w/ tour radar soon , my only complaint was bicentennial hotel in Bogota the staff at the hotel were completely professional and polite the actual hotel room was HORRIBLE! Everything was broken the shower the Tv the refrigerator and the toilet seat fell off very disappointing, Thankfully my trip got Much better from there. Thanx Again Tour Radar, Thumbs Up.Show more
- Laurie· February 12th, 2025An Unforgettable Adventure: Responsible Travel’s 10-Day Galápagos Tour If you’re looking for an immersive, ethical, and awe-inspiring way to experience the Galápagos Islands, Responsible Travel’s 10-day tour is an absolute dream come true. Even before we arrived our contact Jeferson Paucar, from Responsible Travel, was so helpful. Quickly answering questions and assisting with arrangements. Then from the moment we arrived, every aspect of the trip was carefully curated to showcase the islands’ breathtaking biodiversity while prioritizing responsible tourism and conservation. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation. Snorkeling with sea lions, marine iguanas, and sharks felt like stepping into a nature documentary, while guided hikes with experts brought us up close to giant tortoises, blue-footed boobies, and lava lizards. Every guide was passionate and deeply knowledgeable, sharing insights about the fragile ecosystem and the importance of sustainable travel. Accommodations were comfortable, eco-friendly, and locally owned, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting island communities. The small group size made the experience feel intimate, fostering camaraderie among fellow travelers while minimizing our environmental impact. Perhaps the most rewarding part of the trip was knowing that our journey directly contributed to local conservation efforts. Responsible Travel partners with local organizations to ensure that tourism benefits the environment and the people who call the Galápagos home. By the end of the 10 days, I left not just with incredible memories and stunning photos but also a deep appreciation for this extraordinary archipelago and the importance of protecting it. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that’s as enriching as it is responsible, this tour is the way to go. I can’t recommend it highly enough!Show more

- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written January 2023

Asked on December 13th, 2022Is this a self guided trip? The brochure reads as if I do the driving: example Day 3 "you will drive around town" Day 4: "you will drive to Coyhaique" So, is there a guide doing the driving or am I doing the driving. Are there guides with me for each segment of the trip, or is it my responsibilty to get from one place to another? I am confused. Can you help?
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written December 2022
Regarding this tour, this is a group tour for a minimum of 3 passengers. You will have a private driver Guide who will drive you from Puerto Montt to Caleta Tortel. From Caleta Tortel you will take a 2-day Ferry until you Arrive at Puerto Natales where you will have another guide for your activities in Torres del Paine. We don't offer this tour for solo travelers since having a private driver-guide can be pricey for Solo Travelers.

Asked on December 2nd, 2022Is this a group tour? How many are in the group? Is it guided? Is there a single supplement? I'm ok with sharing a room with another female traveller.
- Responsible Travel South AmericaOperator•Written December 2022
The price is considered for a Group of 4 since a private driver guides the tour all the time. The price for the whole group of 4 is approximately $6000 if we want to do this same tour just for one person will be around $5000. We can adapt the tour to make it more affordable by joining other groups.

Traveler•Written December 2022I'd be interested in joining another group doing the tour originally described on the website. The one you listed below is nothing like it. I'll be starting in Santiago so will see that area before going South.
