Our experience climbing Kilimanjaro was excellent. The days were very well planned and our guides prepared us well to reach the summit. The living conditions were clean and comfortable and our cook made great food. The first four days of our trip we slowly gained altitude up to 15,500 feet, which allowed us to acclimate to the high altitude. On the summit day, all 6 people in our group reached the summit without problems. Overall the trip was a wonderful experience and I look forward to doing it again some day.

We did the 6 days Machame trek with guide Epa and crew from Migration Venture Africa. From the initial contact we knew that we were dealing with a reliable company because Amos the host was professional and prompt with his responses. He also took time to understand what we wanted and advised us well but left the final decision to us.
We met Epa and Boniface at our hotel where they helped check our gear and we immediately took liking them. The actual trek was really great as the support service from crew was first rate. Every aspect of the trek was well taken care of and given the unbeatable deal that we got from Migration Venture Africa, we were in good company.
The course is tough but very scenic and rewarding as we went for the summit. I cannot fault any aspect of the trip and highly recommend Migration Venture Africa for Kilimanjaro.

We just got back home from doing Kilimanjaro with guide Epa of Migration Venture Africa. The trek was well planned, resourced and conducted such that by the end of it all it exceeded all our expectations. Trekking up Kilimanjaro is not easy as it gets tougher as one gets higher where oxygen levels are low. Our guides allowed our bodies to slowly acclimatize to the mountain conditions. They keenly monitored our health through regular health checks and were attentive to any changes. Luckily no one in our group came down with severe ALS. The food was really great and we the portions served really generous. I was also impressed by the quality of the provided equipment, particularly the tents because they were water proof and it rained a lot.
Thank you Amos for the great work preparing this expedition, we did not lack in anything. The assigned crew were all great men of honor. I will tell all my friends, family and anyone who will listen about the epic adventure we had in Tanzania thanks to Migration Venture Africa.

The trek was everything we had hoped for and much more. Amos is excellent in his planning and as he had assured us during the booking process, he took care of all the arrangements for crew, food, permits, porters and the expert crew. The trek was tough but really fun. We traversed through different habitats with amazing scenery. The clean mountain air, pristine environment did wonders for my body and soul. I was totally impressed by the quality of our equipment for the trek. Everything worked very well. I big shout out to our guides - Boniface and Epa. They were friendly professional and ensured our safety at all times. We would have been lost without them. Asante sana to the whole team from Migration Venture Africa.

Climbing Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route in seven days was a true test of endurance—both physically and mentally. However, what made the journey smoother and more rewarding was the exceptional support from Amos and his team at Migration Venture Africa. From the moment we set foot on the trail, everything was meticulously organized, allowing us to focus on the adventure ahead.
Our three experienced guides—Epa, Justin, and Frank—ensured we were well-prepared at every stage, offering encouragement, valuable trekking tips, and constant monitoring of our health. The six of us in the group felt incredibly well-supported, and it was evident that the entire team was committed to making this an unforgettable experience.
The logistics behind such an expedition are no small feat. To ensure we had everything we needed, a dedicated crew of 19 porters, a skilled cook, and a friendly waiter accompanied us. The meals were nourishing and delicious, keeping our energy levels high for the demanding trek. Our tents were spacious, sturdy, and well-equipped to withstand the mountain’s unpredictable weather. Comfortable sleeping mats and high-quality sleeping bags provided much-needed rest after each day's climb. We even had a large dining tent with a table and chairs, making mealtimes feel comfortable despite being on a remote mountain.
One of the things I truly appreciated was the seamless planning that went into every detail of this trip. From resupplying fresh provisions to ensuring every hiker’s well-being, it was clear that Migration Venture Africa operates with deep experience and a commitment to excellence.
Reaching the summit was an emotional and triumphant moment, and I believe that our successful ascent was largely due to the outstanding support from this incredible team. I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one my brother and I had during our recent trip to Tanzania. I think the perfect planning with Amos before the trip played a huge part in the successful outcome. Amos was there to guide us pre-trek and it was reassuring to find everything in place when we arrived in Tanzania.
The two guides - Temba and Marcus are the absolutely best; very experienced on Kilimanjaro and Machame route. They put our safety and comfort first and also made us feel wanted and were treated really well. I was struck by how much attention to detail had taken care of so that we were happy. Every thing was planned to the last detail. I really appreciate that despite the tough mountain conditions they created comfortable camping surroundings for us.
We had a lot of fun on the trek, learning about Kilimanjaro and Tanzania in general not forgetting the once in a lifetime views as we were trekking above the clouds. Sunrise at the summit is totally unforgettable!
I highly recommend this trip to all outdoor enthusiasts who are planning to do Kilimanjaro.

If you are thinking of climbing Kilimanjaro, I suggest that you talk to Amos of Migration Venture Africa. They are highly experienced in planning and organizing Kilimanjaro treks and have very experienced crews. I am actually speaking from a point of experience because they were amazing.
Amos helped us book a private package which came with 2 guides (Epa and Jackson), 6 porters and a cook. These guys were exceptional and are the reasons that we reached Kilimanjaro's summit safely and in excellent health, though quite beat from fatigue and the high altitude.
The services were top class and we totally loved experience and would not change it for anything. A huge vote of thanks goes to everyone from Migration Venture Africa that was involved in our trip.

Our group of five from Germany recently completed the Machame Route over 6 days with Migration Venture Africa, and it was an incredible journey from start to finish. The attention to detail and the personalized care we received from the team made this an unforgettable experience.
Joseph and Peter, our main guides, were simply outstanding. Their deep knowledge of the mountain and their ability to keep us motivated at every stage of the trek made all the difference. Whether we were trekking through the lush rainforest on Day 1 or tackling the steep Barranco Wall on Day 4, they provided clear instructions, encouragement, and plenty of humor to keep our spirits high.
Julian and Germin were equally fantastic, supporting us with anything we needed and always ensuring our comfort at each camp. Their hard work behind the scenes made the entire trek feel seamless, from setting up our tents to preparing delicious meals that kept us energized for the journey ahead.
The Machame Route itself is breathtaking, offering diverse landscapes and panoramic views that change dramatically each day.
