    Luggage is stored in Tirana for free at our office. During the hike you will need to carry a backpack with the essential clothes needed during the tour.

  We were wondering if we need to bring hiking equipment? As we aren't planning to go a hiking holiday, and won't have backpacks ,just suit cases. Can we hire a back pack and leave out suitcases somewhere?

    Hiking gear is not required as it is not a difficult hike. But hiking shoes are needed as parts of the trek are rocky and other shoes may not be a good choice. You will need a small backpack for the items needed for the 2 nights. The rest of the suitcases can be stored for free at our office.

    The vegetarian options are easily adjustable. You can book any hotel in Tirana, as we offer pickup from your location. We suggest something closer to the center as it gives the opportunity to visit some of the city just by walking.

    Please note that the hiking trail between Valbona and Theth is still covered in snow, making it unsafe for hikers unless they are equipped with specialized gear, and we do not recommend or do this hike in these conditions. As an alternative, we would be happy to offer you a tour in the nearby Kelmend region, which is just one valley over. The region offers the same stunning natural beauty and is equally popular for hiking. We can organize a hike to Vajusha Peak, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Albanian Alps. The tour is 3 days long as well.

  Is it possible to add the Blue Eye mountain pool, short hike from Theth to this itinerary?

    Since the tour takes place in early spring, there is still a possibility of snow in the area, which might make the Valbona-Theth hike challenging or unsafe. However, we can still explore Theth over the course of two days. The best approach is to monitor the weather as we get closer to the date. If the snow melts and conditions allow, we may be able to proceed with the original itinerary and include the Blue Eye. However, we cannot confirm this just yet, as it will depend on the weather at that time.

    At the end of October we often have colder weather and chili weather, with a high chance of rain. On the other hand, the trail is totally doable.
