Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll touch down at Cairo airport where a Ramasside Tours representative will be waiting for you. From there, it's an air-conditioned car ride to your hotel where you can settle in and get some rest after your journey.
- Day 2
Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel, head to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities to see collections that span 5000 years of Egyptian art, including the Tutankhamen treasures. Later, you'll make your way to the Giza Plateau to check out the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions, along with the Sphinx and Valley Temples. You'll spend the night back in Cairo.

Cairo to Aswan to Edfu
Have breakfast, then transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Aswan. Once you arrive, visit the High Dam and Philae Temple before boarding your cruise ship. You'll sail to Kom Ombo where afternoon tea is served, and you can see the temple shared by gods Sobek and Haroeris. The cruise continues on to Edfu with dinner on board and a disco party. You'll stay overnight on the ship in Edfu.

Edfu to Luxor
Breakfast happens on board before you head ashore to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. After that, you'll cross the lock and sail toward Luxor. Afternoon tea comes later, followed by dinner on board with a Galabya party. Your overnight stay is on the cruise in Luxor.

Luxor
You'll have breakfast on board, then cross the Nile to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings and visit tombs from different dynasties. From there, check out the Temple of Deir El Bahari and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. On the return trip, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive sitting statues representing Amenopis III. Lunch is back on board, and you'll have free time in the afternoon before afternoon tea.

Luxor to Cairo
After breakfast on board, you'll disembark from your cruise. A transfer takes you to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo. When you arrive, you'll head to your hotel and get settled in for the night.

Cairo to Alexandria
Your guide picks you up from the hotel for the drive to Alexandria. Start at the Library of Alexandria, which now holds 8 million books, and explore its open court and free museums. Visit the lighthouse site where Qaitbey Castle now stands, which used to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You'll see King Farouk's royal gardens and the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek. Stop by the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, and the statue of Alexander the Great. The Church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa, comes next. Afterward, drive along the 30 km Corniche to see the city from the sea, check out the old harbor with its underwater monuments, cross the Stanley Bridge, and walk through the old downtown and city center built by Alexander the Great. You'll head back to your Cairo hotel by evening.

Departure from Cairo
Have breakfast at your hotel, then your representative will transfer you to the airport and help with your departure paperwork before you head home.
