Lots of stops and things to see meant we weren’t on the road alll day. Helen was a genius guide. I appreciated so much that after many years of guiding that she was still so in love with Scotland. Having a driver meant I could truly enjoy myself because those roads are no joke, especially for someone who’s not used to driving on the other side of the road. Already planning next trip to Orkney and Shetland. Only caution - bring repellent for the midges!Show more

His knowledge of the history and the country was impressive. I really enjoyed his stories and anicdotes. Everyplace we stopped was a new experience and he had a story to tell about it which made it memorable. The accomodations were clean and comfortable. Even the weather was perfect as we sampled a bit of everything!
