- Mohammed· August 31st, 2025The tour was great with all the activities and experiences. They took care of all modes of transportation, from picking us up from the airport to dropping us back to catch our flight. Our guides Ronal and Tito were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There was some disorganisation and confusion with the company for the itinerary we had booked and what they had scheduled us for, so be careful when checking in to check the details. But they immediately took care of it the moment we let them know. The lodge and rooms were great. This is out in the jungle, and the staff tries to keep it as close to nature as possible. But a fan, some extra toilet paper, and some more vegetarian meal options would have made it a little more comfortable.Show more

- cody· August 6th, 2025The tour was overall good. Our guide was very helpful and super fun! Accommodations were cozy for someone who travells like a backpacker it was fine for me but if you're someone who stays in higher ends this might not be for you. The food the whole time was great but was not included. Machu Picchu was incredible and we go amazing spots and the adventure the entire way was beautiful and exciting. I would recommend this tour!Show more

Asked on June 1st, 2025Will I be sleeping in my own tent or required to share? Are there basic showers at all the campsites? Will I be porting my own tent and sleeping bag or is there a porter or pack animal? How far in advance do I need to book this?
CondeTravelOperator•Written June 2025As a solo traveler, you'll need to share tents until the 3rd night. First campsite has no showers as it's very cold. Subsequent campsites have cold water showers. Horsemen will carry your duffel bags (max 5 kilos including sleeping bag) for the first 3 days. From the 4th day, you'll need to carry your own bag. We recommend booking 3 months in advance to confirm Machu Picchu entrance.

Traveler•Written December 2024Is the return train (14:55 hours Touristic) not included in the package? If I book Huayna Picchu/Machu Picchu, how does this work with the city visit? What is the difference between Salkantay Standard and the other trek?
CondeTravelOperator•Written December 2024Touristic train is included in your package. Huayna Picchu must be booked at least 3 months in advance. After the Machu Picchu guided tour, you can visit Huayna Picchu for 2 hours before returning. The difference between packages is only in inclusions, the route remains the same.
