- Dennis· October 5th, 2023I discovered on this trek that enjoyment of the journey is largely tied to the guide leading the climb. Whereas on the previous trek, with the exception of a couple of dark rainy climbs mentioned in a previous review, my guide was frequently far out in front of me and would wait at a place where ther might be confusion as to which path to take, my guide on the Annapurna Trail Rudra Dhoj Waiba was with me every step of my slow journey. He did not act perturbed by my turtle rather than hare pace. He would grab me by the arm whenever I woukd begin to slip. And pick me up when I fell, including a four foot drop from a narrow path after the sun had set. Fotlrtunately, I fell into a bed of high grasses...no injury. He would encourage me, saying "Good Job". He said he was there to make my trek as enjoyable as possible. I had searched the internet and travel agencies here in Kathmandu for Annapurna Adventures. I found none that can compare to the value and personal attention you get from HimamayanShow more
