- Justin· November 27th, 2024Everything went smoothly from the initial day of meeting and discussing the itinerary to the final moment of being helped with my airport taxi. Hari and Krishna customized an extra day and summit since I had more time than the designed trek. The gradual increase in elevation and pace were just right to acclimatize. I am happy I chose this guiding service and the Langtang Valley trek, such a majestic natural area with wonderful peaks without the crowds. I reached my highest elevation ever.. My guide Krishna took care of all the logistics, checked on my needs regularly, and handled all the meal ordering, allowing me to just be in the here and now and soak in the experience. Highly recommended trek and guiding service!Show more
- Annalisa· August 29th, 2024What an amazing experience! Himalayana Heart Treking went above and beyond to ensure we were accommodated and comfortable with our trek. Greeting us with smiling faces despite our delay at Kathmandu airport and making sure we were in good hands our entire trip. Our guide - Kanchha and porter were most gengorous and supportive. My son got altitude sickness when we hit Lobuche and our guide and porter were so accommodating and ensured his health and safety came first. We had a collegue who suggested we take coloured pens, lollies and chocolate to hand out to the village kids as we treked - they absoluted loved this! Despite our trip being cut short - it was 100% wotrth the experience.Show more

Asked on October 5th, 2018What cultural differences should I be aware of when visiting Nepal?
- Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition[P] Ltd Operator•Written October 2018
As a multicultural country, Nepal respects people of all faiths, creeds and cultures and definitely expects the same from the visitors too. There are no such restrictions or limitations on your activities, except those considered illegal and immoral. That being said, public displays of affection are somewhat unacceptable in Nepal, and in order to feel comfortable and attract fewer stares, females may wish to wear long sleeves, especially in more remote areas.
