Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
Your arrival day in Kathmandu starts with being met at Tribhuvan International Airport by a company representative who'll drive you to your hotel. This evening you'll have a chance to meet other trekkers and guides, then settle in and get some rest before the journey ahead.

Kathmandu to Pokhara
The drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about 8-9 hours through changing landscapes, rolling hills, and views of the Himalayas and small villages. Once you reach Pokhara, check into your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring the city, relaxing by Phewa Lake, or taking in the mountain views.

Pokhara to Nayapul to Tikhedhunga
A 1-2 hour drive gets you from Pokhara to Nayapul, then the actual trek begins. From there it's a 3-4 hour hike through forests and villages up to Tikhedhunga (1570m/5,151ft), where you'll stay in a local lodge and begin your Annapurna region adventure.

Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
Today's trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani covers about 6-7 hours with significant elevation gain of roughly 1,290m/4,232ft. The trail winds through forests with rhododendron trees, crosses suspension bridges and streams, passing through small villages before reaching Ghorepani (2860m/9,383ft) for the night.

Ghorepani to Tadapani via Poon Hill
An early morning hike takes you up to Poon Hill (3210m/10,531ft) to catch the sunrise over the Annapurna range. After that, the 6-7 hour trek continues through forests and villages to Tadapani (2675m/8,776ft), where elevation change totals about 535m/1,755ft for the day.

Tadapani to Chhomrong
The descent from Tadapani to Chhomrong is a 5-6 hour trek going down roughly 635m/2,083ft. You'll pass through terraced fields, dense forests, and small villages with views of snow-capped peaks, crossing streams and suspension bridges to reach Chhomrong (2040m/6,693ft), a traditional Gurung village.

Chhomrong to Himalaya
After breakfast, a 5-6 hour climb from Chhomrong to Himalaya gains about 880m/2,887ft elevation. The trail winds through forests along streams with suspension bridges and steep stone steps. You'll finish in Himalaya (2920m/9,580ft), a small remote village surrounded by terraced fields and forest.

Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp
This challenging 6-7 hour trek from Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp covers roughly 12km/7.5 miles. You'll pass through Machhapuchhre Base Camp along the way, navigating steep trails through forests, rocky sections, and streams with constant views of Annapurna South and the iconic Fishtail peak ahead.

Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
The descent from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo takes about 5-6 hours covering approximately 14km/8.7 miles downhill. The trail winds through forests and rocky areas with views of peaks and gorges, crosses suspension bridges over rushing rivers, and passes villages before reaching Bamboo, a quiet village.

Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
Today's 5-6 hour hike from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda covers around 12km/7.5 miles through forested terrain with steep ups and downs. As you approach Jhinu Danda, you'll find the hot springs where trekkers often take a dip. The village itself sits in the foothills with good views, and you can relax in the warm water overnight.

Landmarks/POIs Jhinu Danda Jhinu Hot Springs - Day 11
Jhinu Danda to Pokhara via Nayapul
After breakfast, trek from Jhinu Danda back toward civilization on a 4-5 hour descent covering about 20km/12.4 miles. The route goes through terraced fields, forests, and traditional villages with a gradually easier pace as you approach Nayapul. From there, a one hour drive takes you back to Pokhara where you can celebrate completing the trek.

Landmarks/POIs Nayapul - Day 12
Pokhara to Kathmandu
The return drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes 8-9 hours and covers about 200km/124 miles by bus, passing through countryside and rural villages. Once in Kathmandu, check into your hotel, rest up, then head out to explore some of the city's cultural sites. Later that evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at an authentic Nepalese restaurant with cultural performance.

Kathmandu to Airport
Your final morning involves a hotel pickup about 3 hours before your scheduled flight. A Himalayan Adventure Treks and Tours representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport, giving you time to handle check-in and reflect on the trek before heading home.
