Itinerary

Basel/Zurich to Breisach
You'll arrive in Zurich or Basel (flights need to land by 3 pm) and board your suite ship by 5 pm. After getting settled in your cabin, you'll have dinner onboard and time to walk around and check out the ship before it sails overnight toward Breisach.

Breisach
Several options await you in the Breisach and Black Forest area. You can bike along the Rhine with your Adventure Host, take a full-day guided tour through the Black Forest to see an open-air museum and traditional water mill, or visit a local winery to learn about German winemaking and do a tasting. If you prefer, head to the charming village of Colmar in the morning before the ship sails to Strasbourg in the afternoon.

Strasbourg
Strasbourg gives you flexibility to explore on your own or join guided activities. You can bike through the city with your Adventure Host or take a guided city tour that covers the Gothic cathedral with its stained glass and astronomical clock, plus the La Petite France district. Other options include visiting the Maginot Line or Alsace wine country, or spending time in museums and around the city center before sailing to Rüdesheim.

Rüdesheim to Boppard to Frankfurt
Start your day in Rüdesheim among the vineyards with choices to hike, ride an open-air cable car up to the Niederwald Monument, or tour the Mechanical Music Museum. Later, relax on the Sky Deck as the ship cruises through the Rhine Gorge to Boppard. There you'll find the Rheinallee Promenade with food and wine options, then you'll sail toward Frankfurt with live entertainment on board.

Bike around the city with your Adventure Host, take a guided tour to Seligenstadt to see the Einhard Basilika, or join a sightseeing tour covering Frankfurt's cultural landmarks, financial district, and quieter neighborhoods. After your chosen activity, you'll enjoy live entertainment onboard before cruising to a Main River village.

Your Adventure Host leads a guided walking tour through a picturesque Bavarian village on the Main River so you can discover its local charm and character. After this tour, the ship sails on to Würzburg.

Würzburg
In Würzburg, the Pearl of the Romantic Road, you can bike with your Adventure Host or take a guided sightseeing tour to see the Old Main Bridge, the towering fortress, and the baroque Bishop's Residenz with its impressive ceiling fresco. You also have the option to visit the fairytale town of Rothenburg. Later, enjoy live entertainment onboard before sailing to Bamberg.

Bike along the canals with your Adventure Host or take a guided walking tour through the historic city to see the Romanesque cathedral, Old Town Hall, and the seven hills each topped with churches. You'll have free time to grab a glass of German-style Rauchbier or wander around before the ship sails to Nuremberg.
